Hi guys been watching the show for a while first time bike rider and im slowly getting the hang of it,your vids have provided me with good tips which i've put into practice and have come in handy in some occasions, quick question,if i was to ever win a motorcycle(who knows ;) ) will it ship to puerto rico? I wonder if we could convince Yam to invest in a scale??? It would be cool to verify some weights. Especially since Euro and Big 4 use different methods.
Wow! I can Definitely see the transition you guys are trying to make from youtuber to professional motorcycle commentators. Everything from your demeanors to camera angles and camera shots. The big question is will you guys make it in the big leagues? Well I hope so! Keep up the good work I wish the best for your team.
I would suggest really pushing the point that Josh is a very new and an experienced rider compared to you and spite. Bringing Josh into the picture without explaining that ,does not mix well with your transition of being a more professional commentator. For example if you want to look and sound the professional part ,which you guys are starting to do a good job of. Josh doesn't mix with the new image you're portraying. So just let the viewer's no before you give him the mic, he's a new Rider compared to you guys." Nothing against josh. He is doing better then i could do in front of camera. He will get there soon enough"
The Bonneville are not all the same. The Speed Twin is a FANTASTIC cruiser with sport handling. It is so comfortable to ride but feels like it can really go. The 1200 engine is a peach!
Once you've owned a Triumph you will understand the "premium" price compared to the generic Japanese counterparts, the much better build quality compared to practically every other brand and overall charm of the brand.I never should've sold mine.can't wait to get back to a Triumph dealership to buy my next Triump!
Yeah man, I understand where you’re coming from. I like them both very much (especially the T120) and I’m pretty sure Triumph is more reliable, but for me Guzzi’s got more soul to it, you know
@@gwynbleidd2562 like i said. Guzzi is perfect as it is and i'd consider one later down the road. But for now my SS is perfect. Could use more hp for that top end speed cuz 160-170 is eh, but this bike isn't made for that kind of riding. Also, i think i could make some trouble with that speed, so it fits me perfectly :)
I had a v9 and I traded it for a dyna. Great bike, and overall reliable, but the dealer on my area had the worst customer service. Harley also has the best aftermarket from my personal experience
Did I hear someone refer to early 750 Honda's as cruisers? Sorry but they weren't even close to cruisers. They were early superbikes, .. and in my opinion anyhow the reason the Triumph Trident and BSA Rocket 3 (which were also sort of appealing) died so quick. The first Honda cruiser came out years later as a Shadow 750 however.
They're different categories. I distinguish them by foot placement. Cruiser: out front, standard: straight down, sport: back. There is a range for each since this is a continuum, but the foot position generally indicates the category. You can do sporty riding with the Triumph, but not so much the Harley, though the Sportster is a bit less pathetic than other Harleys around turns. The Triumph Bonneville family is in the standard category in various sizes, features an focus.
'A standard is basically a cruiser ' No, it isn't Standard is a do everything motorcycle that will Cruise, tear up the back roads, and tour, and do all these things fairly well
Over here in England, you can pick up a 2 yr old, sub 5k mile Bonneville T120, Bobber, or Scrambler for the same price as a similar age Sportster. Maybe a little more, but at that kind of monmey the percentage difference is tiny. For me, both are relatively expensive bikes, so the price isn't the issue it would be for a 'merican rider. A Harley would be more exclusive - you do see them, but it's far less often. Triumphs aren't super-common - given the price, a lot of people go for Japanese bikes for the power-to-price value. Sportbikes and sport-tourers seem to make up most of the market, and a fair number of 'dad bike' riders go for a BMW. Me? I've got money down on a Bobber, just sorting out paperwork and delivery.
I own a sportster and love everything about it even where it is not as refined, I appreciate your take on this bike. Love your genuine reaction to riding and giving the bike respect where it's due feel.
Dang, Josh sounds a little shaky. Is he cold? Nah, they’re in Texas. Is he scared of the power? It’s an 883, hell no. Is it the paint mixer vibrations of a Harley shaking his bones more than the Spooky, Scary Skeletons song? Oh definitely.
The Triumph is a real classic, essentially from before 1959. The form has changed little but the quality is way better now. I vote Triumph all the way!
In my opinion a better choice of Triumph bike for comparison with the Sportster would be the Bonneville Speedmaster. Scrambler may have a few similarities with cruisers, but it's definitely not one and can't really be compared to them. Also, the CB750 and other similar UJM bikes weren't cruisers, for the 70s standards they were high performance bikes, the old school equivalent of later supersport bikes. The closest thing to a cruiser made by a Japanese manufacturer was the Yamaha XS11 Special first made in 1979.
I never really thought about how how these two compare, at least on paper. The companies are definitely classics and I would be happy with either lol 😂
The triumph cost 2k more than the sportster, and 1k more than a 1200 Iron. I would probably take the Street Scrambler Triumph over an 883... but a 1200 Iron/Custom/48 ect... might be better for me than this Triumph. I think comparing the 883 vs Street Twin would be more of a level comparison. I did enjoy the video, as always, just wanted to give my 2c.
yeah you could put the similar scrambler mods on the sportster and they would be about the around same price depending on brand of the mods. but the T120 still cost more than the iron 1200

You already addressed one of the biggest flaws of the 883 - the suspension, now address the biggest flaw of the Triumph - the exhaust, swap it for a quality aftermarket and it will help wake it up and make it a much more enjoyable experience.
Yeah, stick a Vance and Hines pipe on it for a whole 1bhp (yes, one) improvement, and a sound little better than stock for the cheap sum of £630. I say this as a Street Scrambler owner for 3 years. The better option is to fit a de-cat kit and new cam from TEC Bike Parts, if power is your thing. For me though, it’s fine the way it is.

Here in America everything's about big. I've taken a liking to small cc bikes lately and didn't know how good they could sound until seeing some videos from twin things customs closer to your side of the world. Sucks that you're not allowed to make your bike sound better.
In a side by side comparison the Bonnie wins hands down but $11k new is steep and used you wont find much of a deal, however considering that 883's are more than plentiful on the used market its easy to find one thats been barley ridden for under $5,000, and way cheaper if you look around. Here in America everything's about big. I've taken a liking to small cc bikes lately and didn't know how good they could sound until seeing some videos from twin things customs closer to your side of the world. Sucks that you're not allowed to make your bike sound better.
What is up with that cover on the brake fluid cylinder someone please help
Looks like a YammieNoob wrist band.
TJ Miller speaks with truth
Im looking into getting my first motorcycle, i already have one but its only been a year and its a dirtbike. Any suggestions?
Harley Davidson, goes great in a straight line with all of its *49* hp. And all of its displacement makes 10 lb of torque more than the humble sv 650.
I wanna see you guys do your take on the 2020 Rocket 3. It's not your style but it's a Batman-esque ride, how could you not?
If you like the 900 you should try the 1200
You can hear the harleys vibrations in yammies voice
You can hear Josh's voice vibrating on the 883.
In a side by side comparison the Bonnie wins hands down but $11k new is steep and used you wont find much of a deal, however considering that 883's are more than plentiful on the used market its easy to find one thats been barley ridden for under $5,000, and way cheaper if you look around. If customizing is your thing the pre 2003 Sportsters are the way to go, hardtail bobber?np, cafe racer ?np, really the sky is the limit
I would wish they got so cheap here.
@@sebastiangeorge7714 yeah in middle America the Sportsters are one of the most common motorcycles around
@@aaronbanks3232 here in Germany harley rearly makes it to a private sale most are at dealers, the local official dealer sells them sometime at over 110% msrp.
Nice REAX tasker gloves 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
HEY SPIKE! You mentioned in another video you hate the shadow. Why?
