But even if its okay to teach the most proper enunciation to us, perhaps slowing down the tempo when in Spoken Japanese its (かとん-かとん) plainly easier to 《繰り返すと言う》than 。There isn't a color band that helps which moves across the kanji to support how the pronunciation is worded or specifically voiced with saying "Happy New Year's" without really going back and forth with its objective characterizations on the spot and, by personification making out the speaker's clarity. Very quick. Litrrally too fast to repeat generally over afterward. Which out of all of the vocabulary introduced, this one specific phrase is quite important. Surely to improve motivating us to correctly apply it to our own diction [as well] is the strongest point of having these lessons filmed. Yet please ... go more slowly. Like in English, we all learn at varying degrees of expression but reassuringly done until perfected. One simply doesn't operate a vehicle as a student by pressing the gas pedal at full throttle to get started. [No], applying the right pressure on the pedal to get it started is correct, and to bring it to the next level in order to move it from a standpoint--- to drive. Makes sense ?

In the hiragana lessons, the term "New Year's Day" is translated as Shougatsu, but here you say that it is Gantan. Please explain the difference.
がんたん is New Year's Day, or New Year's morning. 正月 is the New Year Festival or January. So shougatsu is a longer period of the New Year.

Kanji is hard i even cannot read them but not that all i can only read.Ni,hon,go,gantan,gun,naka,gatsu,ninben.only that please can you make another video about kanji more.

Ricky I got more as a child in Germany and 2 times per year, like a 100 euro from my grandparents and same amount from my parents aunts and uncles a little less like 60 or 70. And I wouldn't say that my family is rich... Would say what I got was above average though.
It's per person. They have the same custom for weddings. Everyone brings like 10'000-20'000 yen as a gift.

why doesn't Japanese celebrate Lunar new year like the Chinese and Koreans?
A lot of modern Japan is influenced more by the West than Asia. Their week days are similar to European weekdays and the school uniforms are copied from 19th C European school uniforms. After the Meiji Restoration ended Japanese isolation they embraced world culture as well as their own history. Also, after WW2 they were heavily influenced by American culture too.
