Why Did Yoda Choose To Hide On Dagobah? 🤔

Why did Yoda choose the planet Dagobah to hide on after the fall of the Jedi Order?
See, before the fall of the Republic and Order 66, Yoda was told by the spirit of Qui Gon Jinn to find the planet of Dagobah.
But WHY such a random planet?
Well, Dagobah was actually the 1 place in the galaxy that Qui Gon found that has the purest connection to the Force!
And since Qui Gon told Yoda that he would train him to learn more about the Force to become a Force Ghost, what better place than Dagobah which is rich with the Force all around!
But since the planet is very remote and strong in the Force, it also masked Yoda’s presence so he wouldn’t be on the rader from any Sith like Darth Vader and Sidious.

Not just strong in the Force, but the dark side specifically to better mask his presence.

There is a cave on Dagobah that is a Dark Side Nexus. Yoda made his home there because it masked his Light Side presence. Knowledge of the planet's existence was lost when Count Dooku deleted Kamino, Dagobah and other systems from the Jedi Archives.

Right, this makes more sense. I thought if Dagobah was so obviously connected to the force then why wouldn't they look there? Well they wouldn't expect Master Yoda to camp near a dark side nexus. But if that's so why didn't they want to visit the nexus? 🤔

They say the best place or way for one to hide or hide something is in plain sight. In Yoda's case, he hid on a world that had a strong connection to the force, albeit a connection to the dark side that masked his presence, much like how Sidious used the dark side to mask his in the eyes of the Jedi.
