Punk winning MITB, Jeff Hardy becoming WWE champion, The Bash 2008 being the last ppv to be TV-14. Like honestly looking back, was this the best year? No. But damn wwe was still doing a lotta shit in this one year compared to the last several years currently.
Like No Mercy from this year was a good ppv. That was the thing, even ppv's and some of the TV has really good moments from this one year. I was 10, growing up watching and I can honestly say that wwe doesn't get awful til like 2009. Cause that shit sucked. Which even then they kinda get back by 2011 and then 2013 to 2014 were probably their two strongest years in the 2010s from consistency.

From what I remember it was the High Cross and Finlay used the Celtic Cross which was the air raid crash. After finlay quietly retired, sometime during the end of Sheamus as a heel into his babyface run they just called it the Celtic Cross
I played the Wii version of 09 but the hd versions had the dlc characters and attires like Jericho's short trunks when he first used them. And Super Crazy too

I remember watching this raw specifically because I was at the 2008 rumble live in the Garden. As a kid it was so awesome watching this with all the storylines but as an adult looking back this is pretty cursed man.
