That’s a great way to do it! We’ve been talking more lately about using swing trade entries/setups, taking a first profit relatively quickly (or cut loss relatively quickly) and let rest of position ride like a position trade, using 10-week break for final sell.
I like your content it is short but straight to the point. it really helps when you're Showing it up with the technical analysis, chart pattern & indicators. It's great to learn from your Trading strategy. Thanks! I’m more of a Position trade and less on a swing trade.

Excellent Video - thank you! This market is so tough because a handful of stocks quickly get elevated above proper buy points making entering problematic but they just continue to run. In hindsight - ha - great position trades. I have been swing trading making a little bit of progress but a lot of trades with small gains/slightly smaller losses. It was about 6% for Swing Trader, which was in the trade for a lot less time. I want to say it was roughly 20% or so for Leaderboard but I don’t have that info at my fingertips right now!

I think it depends on what type of market you're in! If you're in a strong bull market, can potentially ride winners longer. In this market, keeping a tight leash is the way to go.

Thanks for video..I prefer swing for most of the stocks and some convert into positional depends upon the uptrend move signal in daily time frame

Very enlightening. I prefer to stay flexible. That is, whichever method works best for current market conditions. How did you get into trading?
Double majored in finance and journalism so my career at IBD has been a great fit!
