I used to get hit with this all the time! Now I wait to use these as an entry because it happens a lot more now that so many novices are trading. Sometimes I wait for that double dip to a new low at support. The bear trap is a good way to jump in long.
Wouldn't this also be considered a double bottom or double top in a way?, but I get, it is occurring from a pullback. Thanls for sharing and bringing light to this, I do see it happen quite often.
