Sustainable, affordable building insulation with aerogels

Researchers from Fraunhofer UMSICHT have been working in collaboration with PROCERAM GmbH & Co. KG to develop a sustainable, affordable mineral-based insulation material that is far more effective than options such as polystyrene.
