NJ is one of the hardest states to pass your CDL road test. The reason most people fail their CDL Road Test is because they do not get the right CDL training and that makes them fail the Pre-trip inspection. The Road Test is split into 3 different sections the first part of the CDL road test is to pass the inspection you are going to be asked to do both an air brake test as well as a pre-trip inspection. The second part of the CDL road test is a skills test. The student will have to master six different parking maneuvers. The last part of the CDL road test is the road driving. This test will take two and a half hours to complete however it all starts with this pre-trip inspection.
Most people fail in the first 10 mins of the test because they did not get the proper training on the pre-trip inspection. That is why we have created this video to show you how our students at Driving Academy get the proper CDL training they need in order to pass the NJ CDL Road Test. We offer this video and much much more to our students when we train them for their Class B Pre-trip Inspection. Our students get our highly training instructors to help them with the pre- trip inspection, they also get a word for word script on exactly what to say during their CDL Road test, and they also get to practice on the same Class B CDL truck that they will be taking their test in as well. After our CDL training program our students are ready to take this test and become successful CDL Drivers and start making Big Money.

Oh my goodness I just passed my class B with school bus and passenger endorsements in Massachusetts TODAY I cried I was so excited but woah your bus and pre trip is so different. We had cross over mirrors automatic doors all the bells and whistles everything door,amber lights,red lights and stop sign were controlled on the steering wheel! I’d love to drive a classic like this it looks so fun! 😊

Was the first person at my bus terminal to go thru the "new" federal DOT class B road test. Had to find my own methods, but its videos like these that helped me pass.

@@DC-ih8bv I passed !!! I have the license, class B but I need to do my fingerprints for my passengers endorsement but idk how to do that I believe I need a form or something like and then go to indigo for the prints

@@DC-ih8bv no the instructor was quiet. before you start your inspection he reads off of a form and explains that your doing a pre trip inspection basied on federal regulations and states that your to explain the bus thoroughly in and out to him so that why they'll know your knowledgeable about the vehicle you will be driving around on the road.

I just passed my cdl b it took some time 3times. But it was the pre trip that failed me. But I drive with no problems at all. I I can say mine was perfect and I'll do it again anywhere.
Yeah I had to pass. I been driving stick shift for too long now. I'm tired of it and automatic and I needed a new harder challenge and I did that.

What about the interior of the bus, the seats. windows, rear door, driver's area, and the most crucial part, the brake check? Does NJ not require any of this?
He's not giving the entire inspection...wants applicants to come & then they'll get the full in$pection! That's what I think.

If taking the test in Pennsylvania what's the address
Went to the school. The field training is good but at times a bit of time to wait for instructor. They gave me as much time as I needed to review the bus and its parts. I passed first try. They should offer school bus training also since I trained on a bus but not considered a “school bus”.
Now I have to take another road test AND another engine compartment test which is a pain. Haha .
We wish we could but only school bus companies can take their bus on the road

The thread in the front cannot be less than 4/32.
Cannot be LESS than 4/32 in the front and no LESS than 2/32 in the rear. This video failed on that by saying no MORE than 4/32 and 2/32. Also it's tread, not thread. And bus tires can't be recaps up front, at least in NJ, which wasn't mentioned. This guy needs to go back to school before putting out bad information.
