As a fan of the Dragon Ball Z Franchise, I am sorry to say it hurts me when people bash Battle of Z because you can't transform. The game is played kind of like an RPG, where each character has a specific roll to play. If the characters, who have specific move sets for their class, were to transform, their class and attacks would change and it would destroy the entire way the party functions.
Budokai 2s story mode was fun , especially when you found the hidden items and upped the difficulty.
12:46 To be fair, "Sigh-yan" was more in keeping with the original Japanese pronunciation, but this isn't Japan.
I LOVED Budokai 2, it was the game that got me into DBZ to begin with and make me buy every DBZ game after lol.
I didn't hate the story mode check board thing, Then again I was like 12 and addicted to DBZ.
i thought budokai 2 and the legacy of goku were good games and yeah everything else you listed were trash. So i guess dragonball z xenoverse is doing well for the latest dbz game?

It's actually really good it has good online play with very little lag nice combos has a unique story that's pretty what if scenario type and looks gorgeous and the character creation is pretty cool

Well... technically, "Saiyan (say-an)" isn't the correct way to say it either. Originally it was Saiya-jin (romanized) and the japanese language does not have an "A" (ay) sound but instead an "A" (as in uh). But that's just me nitpicking.
Anyway, glad you had Battle of Z on this list. It was such a disappointing game... but it looked sooo good...

Hey hey hey. Dragon Ball budokai 2 was one of my fave dbz games. I like the board game lay out. It was super fun.

Score PN indeed. Dude like seriously budokai 2 had an amazing game and story line and had a wide range of playable characters and awesome maps to play on that no other game has. The unique game play is amazing. It's on my number 1 spot for best dbz game by far. And I played all of them

In Battle of Z you need to send your energy to that "random online guy" because if you use an ultimate attack you receive energy from people playing online your sending your energy to that "random guys" spirit bomb or something
Not all GT games are bad The one for GBA (Transformation) was good. Also, the one you said was like a Mario game- Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure. The GBA rarely had horrible games even though no one talks about them.

+Bubba Jackson Actually the kinect dude was saying it right. It how it was originally supposed to be pronounced but it was pronounced the way we know now when the dubs came out and eventually thats how it started to be said world wide. Original dbz fans will say it the original way so will wannabes. i still prefer the new way imo it sounds better but maybe thats just cuz what im used to

no hey, c'mon! DBZ sagas was not that bad! i had it for the ps2 and it was fun,and btw, the game doesn't "glitch out" , it must have been your game of your system, but those are just my opinions.

Being a GT game is not a good reason for it to suck. A game can be better than something it's based on.
Utlimate battle 22's localization had the worst movelists in the manual. You can't even make heads or tails of them. Did I mention I tore the skin off my fingers playing it? Taiketsu wasn't TOO bad but once you unlock everything it gets pretty boring. In all credit, it was Webfoot technology's first fighting game so that might explain why it sucked. It was the firs American game to feature Broly though.

yoooo ultimate battle 22 was dope for the time! I had the Japanese version on ps1 with an import disc, and I still get nostalgic watching the game play.

I played all but three of these games and I found budikai 2 highly interesting I loved the fighting system in botg but the legacy of goku was the first dragon ball z game I played and one of my first game boy games I cried I was seven

sagas, budokai 2, and ub22 were fun to play growing up
what's funny is despite being utter garbage, legacy of goku got not one... but TWO sequals. and BOTH of them are actually great. o3o

Didn't you know Dragon Ball GT Game for Playstation 1 Graphics are similar to Dragon Ball Z Budokai for Playstation 2 and Nintendo Gamecube. Like 3-D Graphics from Video Game Consoles in the mid 90's through early 2000's in those times.

The way the guy says Saiyan is the correct way because of the Japanese version which is a rearranging of the word Yasai which means vegetable.

Lol this was an awful top 10. Bashing super dbz, budokai 2 and battle of z!? And dragon ball evolution psp was actually a fun game, if you enjoy shin budokai you'll enjoy things from this game. I don't think he researches or plays any of these games lol his narration is awful.

For that DBZ Kinect Commercial, the way how the guy said Saiyan is the correct pronounciation. It's actually pronounced Sa-iyan and not Sai-yan. It's just that the Funimation ''changed'' the pronounciation for some weird reason.

I actually bought super dragon ball Z...twice. I liked it. But it did indeed die. It's not bad mechanic wise, but it killed its on potential and possibilities.
The way the narrator from the commercial says saiyan is actually the most accurate translation of the word.. funimation were the ones to start "say-an" instead of "saiyan". This guys videos piss me off and make me cringe so much I don't know why lol.
You don't have to keep your distcnace i Legacy of Goku. Sure the combat is--- not the best and was heavily improved in 2, but the tactic, is that your Solar Flare is your best friend. Seriously, every battle in that game, you need to make it your first priority to stun the enemy with Solar Flare. Use Solar Flare, know how many seconds it lasts and thus how many punches you can throw while also having enough time to get to a safe distance where you have time to use it again when your opponent un-paralyses... rather rinse repeat.
But hey, gotta give credit to the animated cutscenes. They at least tried.

some people mistake dragon ball taiketzu as the first playable debut of broley, it was in places other then japan, japan had extreme somthing somthing 2 which had a broley boss if you beat bojack on hard difficulties continuless, and you can play as him with a secret code
I think they just mean playable to begin with as in unlocking him wig out codes
