My family is one that was forced to leave LBL. I spend my days off there exploring and there are a lot of fun things to find there.
It is such an amazing place and being able to see the little bits of history here and there is really interesting. Not being from the area, we liked that the visitors center tells the story, although I'm sure there is a lot more to it, but also that they are just leaving a lot of it as is. It is fun and exciting to come across something from the past as you are exploring. We just returned from another weekend trip exploring more of the Tennessee side!

Another nice video guy's. Thank you. What's the recipe for that savory breakfast bread pudding? Was that home made or canned sausage gravy, looked yummy! I've been thinking about getting one of those ovens but I'm solo so way too much food for one guy LOL. Maybe a coleman oven? Looking forward to your series on Hoosier NF!
Thanks so much for watching - we appreciate it! Super simple, store bought or precooked croissants, tore into pieces. Half in the mold, then layer of chopped ham and cheddar cheese, topped with the rest of croissants. I think I used 6 eggs, just beat with some salt, pepper and poured over. Moved things around with a fork a little and baked. Gravy was just one of those packets of pepper gravy - not as good as homemade but still tasty. Would be good with salsa too! Yeah, we're even finding that it is a little too much food for the two of us. We had leftovers, which is great at home, but can be a hassle when camping. It was so windy that evening, we ate the leftovers for dinner though, so that worked out this time. I think in a Coleman you could do a single serving in a small pan and that would work great! I’m curious where the large old oaks are you don’t see hardly any of them, we moved here last year and ride the west side of the lake all the time never see old trees like where we used to live
I think that is probably because so much of this area had been cleared for farming and was only returned to forest when transferred to the Forest Service.
Could you me message the location of the 2 cars? I’ve visited most places in LBL but haven’t been there.
