The sad part is that so many casualties took place in the first minutes of the containment breach, people who had loving families, operated to zombies, shredded by a single glance at someone, taken to another dimension, necks broken, etc. Only if Dr. Maynard was a little more empathetic, he wouldn’t have given power to SCP-079. When I hear this song it makes me cry, the nostalgia, the deaths, the jumpscares, just all of it. The game is a true masterpiece of work in my opinion.

SCP Containment Breach to some people has been reduced to a game what uses cheap jump-scares to catch you out. Those people couldn't be further from the truth. It's a game that you can go through, enjoy and not know the story behind the facility. It's a game where what you do affects what ending you get. It's intense and it's exhilarating when you reach the final destination of your journey. That is why SCP Containment Breach, in my opinion is one of the best horror games to date.
The thing I love about this game is that it's not dead. It's managed to exist with newer horror games and they don't match up with SCP CB. FNaF has timeline that isn't a timeline and just a pile of tangled strings. Hello Neighbor was good it it's older releases but then gained a lore and frustrating physics that ruined the fun in it. I gotta confess...I cried when this music came up. When i finished the game, it's like everything for Benjamin Oliver Walker (d-9341, SCP-9341) is over....
It actually is, since when you think about it he is trapped in a horror game, and when the credits display he just diseappears forever as well all of the facility.
The composition itself, even in an abbreviated version, gives us the understanding that the player has finally left the burden of being imprisoned in a seemingly endless and endlessly cruel maze of horrors. And it doesn't matter if the hero is free or has found eternal peace: the melody will sound in accordance with the ending. THANKS again!

You're right but when I beat the game I was happy but in the same time I was realizing how the scp foundation is sick and what a horrible place is the site
This, combined with the little guitar riff you get once you get back to the menu, playing after beating the game almost makes me want to cry. One of the best "It's finally over" moments I've experienced in a game.
i like this cuz at some points its more dark, but at others it's more cheerful and somber, which symbolizes how the breach is over, but many other horrible things aren't.
Where did you come up with such a beautiful piece of art that matched this atmosphere so well😭I cried after I finished it, and thought, it’s over , I can rest.
This soundtrack works well for SCPs gameplay. You wander around the concrete jungle , not seeing another human being except guards who kill you on sight and the monsters that roam the halls. upon escaping , It shines this brief ray of hope , but soon descends into isolation.
This makes me feel like you've found out the truth about yourself....You are Benjamin Oliver Walker a Ex Level 4 researcher but was demoted to Class D for messing with the Spiral Gestalt...to Researcher to a D Class...you found out the truth about the SCP Foundation and you've joined the Chaos Insurgency if you chose to go to Gate A without containing SCP 106...but if you didn't you end up realizing when you die and load up a save file you're actually going back in time or something...and you've received SCP Classification for surviving the breach since it's impossible for a D class to survive a massive containment breach...to Secure. Contain. and Protect.
This music has something that cannot be explained. Like some civilian that, somehow ended up in here, and endured the horrors inside. And now has esaped from here, from the monsters and the guards, but at what cost? He is now scarred, traumatized, for how can he forget what he saw. You've escaped. You're free now. But are you? Are you free? How do you know if the foundation is looking for you? Did you really escape? There's nothing for you in the outside world. You don't know who you are, where you are. You're likely not going to get home, due to the harsh cold. You sit down next to a warm fire you made for yourself, ready to settle in for the night, taking a break from your long journey. You wonder who you are. You wonder why you're a Class-D, what you did. Why did the breach happen? "Why did I survive, but so many others didn't?" you say to yourself. You continue to think, as you begin to doze off, and you shut your eyes- You hear a faint voice near to you. "There he is! Start shooting!" You see a brief flash through your closed eyelids, and before you even get to open your eyes, *Gunshot* A light flashes on. You open your eyes... You grunt as you sit up in your hard bed. You see a paper on the table across from your bed, you pick it up, and read it. You hear footsteps outside the door, and it opens. "Hey. They got some work for ya'. Do me a favor, and step out of your cell."
its sad and something else at the same time... actually pretty fits with the scp universe itself, at this moment i'm starting to think about how from one scp-173 article a full bizzare universe was born... But some of the unknown autors who took part in this just vanished in history, and i don't sure if they even know that foundation is still alive with their works like SCP-008 and SCP-079 being within it. Even if they left, their effort is still here and be forgotten only with the foundation itself. This is not actually related to the game itself but this music and credits make me think about that.

Mostly whats sad to think is the guard that had you go to 173s room may have had the same powers and may had never made it out and what makes this more sad is d 9341 may had died when geting out since if we are injured so he must have been injured in the escape. But the game says like:. you are not the reason of these deaths they wanted to save the world now go and have your freedom. that makes the game sad.
*backstory: d 9341 was caught looking at a highy keter scp and was turned into d class to rot but mostly i think... that the site was trying to lead him out. even the teams that kill him. there fore d 9341 is an scp him self just going in a loop cause you play over and over so he suffers and i think we controll d 9341s dream or [Real life] so he can get out so d 9341 is a scp who just wanted free dom. So as the other d class but they were not lucky in the end. like if you want d 9341 to live commet if you want him to be chaos. we will remeber you d 9341 we will.
another thing i think: d 9341 had to go there cause he may had killed his own family and got away before mtf came or did not do anything and went randomly but d 9341 is a human and we are his angel protecter makeing sure he gets out every time so he lives a happy life out there in the end. He may be chaos who was caught as that team who did not kill 0.5 team so we... protect him. we secure his heart and mind we contain his night mares and let his dreams go. and mostly.............................. we protect him.
SCP Containment Breach, Is one of the best damn games i have ever played. From the Light Containment Zone and its Breaches Screams and Echos, To the Entrance Zone with Nine Tailed Fox around every corner. I say the best part about this game, Isnt the play through (Although its fucking fantastic) Its the Speculation about the ending, Are you to escape and go only where god knows, Are you to Fall into the Hands of the Chaos Insurgency and make off like a bandit into the wind? Are you captured by the Foundation Again, And made into an SCP? Or do you completely nuke the fucking site off the map?
After the covid 19 outbreak is over I'm playing this and I dont care if I get in trouble I'm playong this as an ending gope everyone ion quarantine is doing fine
But what if make a mod for SCP that adds the OutLast soundtrack? I consider OutLast's soundtrack exemplary for horror and it would be very interesting to combine the scariest game with the best music of the genre.
no, that wouldn't fit SCP Containment Breach, as Outlast is a completely different type of horror, It wouldn't fit at all, as none of the characters use soundtracks, beside SCP-049, 096, and 106, and it would not feel right if they had it. Otherwise, adding outlast music would be kinda pointless
Soviet In what way is HL2 bad? I’ll admit I liked both the first game and its unofficial remake, Black Mesa, more than HL2 or its Episodes but I’d say they were all very good.
This song is the official anthem of a new world order, as well as the theme of humanity obtaining a *BAD ENDING,* making it impossible for civilization to reform at all.
Hey vein brain! Ever think about adding chaos insurgency? I think that they could like transfer you to a gate c or sumtin. Like say you could encounter chaos when you get halfway through heavy containment or at 079s room there would be a message on the intercom saying: The chaos insurgency has entered. Do not fear us. Or another thing that could work is like play as them in a mod but that would be a little bit of a problem. (Lag wise)
Vane Brain other than the not containing 106 ending. Like they spawn in the inside of the facility. Not on the outside (if your saying they do, please tell me where).
Chef boyardee It’d be pretty cool to see the Chaos Insurgency enter the facility and fight the MTF and stuff but I don’t think the Insurgency work like that. I’d think they’re more like in the game. They secretly enter and then silently slip away without having even been noticed.
This is actually the game that gave the creppy vibes not like those other non scary games like fnaf or bendy, they don't give off the same vibe as scp
Noice work.
I need this on spotify.
😢Cry my shadow friend, cry...
you my friend shadow, that's why I'm not alone, my shadow friend.

Dang this games music really does hit different.

End of the world music

We die in the dark, so you can live in the light.
This song is so beautiful I wish I could play it on piano but there’s no tutorials or sheets
Just find piano sheet for "Turn Around, Look at Me" and play it with in different note range and speed
@@VaneBrain care to tell me by who the song is by and exactly how to play it I reallyyyyyyy reallyyyy need to know
This sounds gorgeous. Nice work, Vane!
SCP-682 has broken free from its containment and is "missing"...
Remember all of this happened because some computer hijacked the gates for 173
Ci let 079 control the foundation. Not just so computer
If you look into the story and check dialogues at the terminal you'd figure out it was a planned sabotage of Chaos Insurgency
Dr maynard helped 079
After the covid 19 outbreak is over I'm playing this and I dont care if I get in trouble I'm playong this as an ending gope everyone ion quarantine is doing fine
Why is it that all the time when I play this video it starts buffering only at 6 seconds?
Relax in 2 min.
The 5 dislikes are probably people who got Gate B (bad) ending

But what if make a mod for SCP that adds the OutLast soundtrack?
I consider OutLast's soundtrack exemplary for horror and it would be very interesting to combine the scariest game with the best music of the genre.
no, that wouldn't fit SCP Containment Breach, as Outlast is a completely different type of horror, It wouldn't fit at all, as none of the characters use soundtracks, beside SCP-049, 096, and 106, and it would not feel right if they had it. Otherwise, adding outlast music would be kinda pointless
Varry true
Whenever I see something SCP related... My brain automatically goes "I wonder what's up with the NTF mod :V" Lol
Very soon like Half life 3 XD
Half life 3 is NOT coming out ever, since it's plot has been given out... Besides, half life 2 was pretty bad to begin with.
Soviet In what way is HL2 bad? I’ll admit I liked both the first game and its unofficial remake, Black Mesa, more than HL2 or its Episodes but I’d say they were all very good.
Ami there is half life alyx my man
@@ami6325 Half-Life: Alyx is a virtual reality game also set within the HL universe, but I wouldn't call it HL3, maybe 2.5?
Nice, it would be cool if you would add SCP 999 and make his purpose to heal you if your hurt.
But player will not be able to walk because 999 will always tickle the player.
Vane Brain yeah true, thanks for listening :D
@@VaneBrain good idea, 999 cant just be a walking, gurgling 500.
The night after my crush rejected me
And is there any sheet music for this?
God loves you all

This song is the official anthem of a new world order, as well as the theme of humanity obtaining a *BAD ENDING,* making it impossible for civilization to reform at all.
deus ex machina.
make a loop please
Who the fuck disliked this video
Hey vein brain! Ever think about adding chaos insurgency? I think that they could like transfer you to a gate c or sumtin. Like say you could encounter chaos when you get halfway through heavy containment or at 079s room there would be a message on the intercom saying: The chaos insurgency has entered. Do not fear us. Or another thing that could work is like play as them in a mod but that would be a little bit of a problem. (Lag wise)
They are already added, lol
Vane Brain other than the not containing 106 ending. Like they spawn in the inside of the facility. Not on the outside (if your saying they do, please tell me where).
Chef boyardee It’d be pretty cool to see the Chaos Insurgency enter the facility and fight the MTF and stuff but I don’t think the Insurgency work like that. I’d think they’re more like in the game. They secretly enter and then silently slip away without having even been noticed.
@@fagglebag
Basically yes.
Doctor Maynard was a CI spy and fooled everyone, he sacrificed for the Chaos Insurgency and succeeded to make quite a mess.
S hut Z Yep, though I’ve always interpreted it as less of a sacrifice and more him failing to escape the facility after dooming it to the SCPs.

I don't think so.
