- Aggie MacKenzie meets a man whose father's PoW Japanese suitcase reveals a fascinating wartime past, and another who is about to unknowingly throw away the most noteworthy item from his clutter-filled garage.
Presented by Aggie MacKenzie, this series exposes the rise in demand for storage units and takes a look at different couples whose relationships are suffering because they have too many possessions in their houses. They are challenged to sort through their belongings and say goodbye to things with no value and, with the help of experts, turn their unused items and collectibles into money.

Aggie is a lovely lady and very well suited and trained for this programme. Bit of a tear-jerker this one. Lots to be learned. If words are not necessary, kind or truthful - no need to share them.
I wouldn’t consider myself a hoarder, but when you reach the age of 50, you start to realize how much stuff you actually have but don’t really need. Even though I purge regularly. The story of the elderly couple who moved into a care home got me. Wouldn’t their love story and his war experiences make a great book/movie? When one reaches the end of life, all of the things you’ve accumulated in your youth have no real meaning.
They say we spend the first half of our lives accumulating stuff and the second half trying to get rid of it.
I’m planning to move in the next couple of years... I am looking so forward to the purge. I want a sort of Walden life: books, writing, art and music.
No wonder, the jug was chipped on the rose and there was also way too much going on on there. I did not stop the video to check it I am just trained porcelain quality controller, so I do spot things in an instant.
@19:07 Believe it or not, those mousetraps can EASILY fetch well over 100 pounds each! 🐁 🐭
FAIL
Really??
I'm one of the storage auction buyers who documents all my buys on my You Tube Channel.
The child wanting shoes that is helping her Dad unload is a brat. I would help my Dad with this just to learn about his life and to spend time with him.
