I’m an avid fan of Yamamoto Kid Norifumi and still can’t believe now he’s gone, can’t control myself being emotional every time I watch his videos. RIP my idol. You will not ever be forgotten.

I met Yamamoto Kid outside a restaurant in Japan. I was a big fan at the time and was kinda scared to approach him because of how he was on k1, if you know you know; but he turned out to be super friendly, and to think that he's not here with us is sad. I told him i liked the band "Sublime" (knowing that he was a fan of them too), and he laughed and was surprised that I was a fan too. RIP KID. You will not be forgotten.

I remember Nori when he lived in AZ , he was in high school and my younger brother was also in high school from another city call Yuma, and when we would travel to the wrestling tournaments we would see him. We all knew he was something special as a wrestler. I feel he gave respect to my brother for also being a great wrestler as he was at the time a 1st place holder in AZ in his weight class , I mean all the guys knew who was on top at the time and I could swear he gave us the nod LOL, rest in peace brother...
