I'm sure Hi Tech Expressions is partially to blame for that... ;)

The cosmic cycle of aeons begins anew, as Dave gets a haircut
Also the final word on cinematic greatness is Megaforce

No, the movie Megaforce, which also has an Atari 2600 game based on it. The game is meh but the movie is so amazing!

I'm fully aware of each intro, but I still watch them for the snarky jokes. also, wow, 1998 release? did not expect that. (i know, Brazil but still) Nice copy regardless. Love anything Tom & Jerry.

Majesco got the rights from Sega to produce and distribute Genesis related content around 1997/1998, which included the Model 3 Genesis. This included rereleases of certain catalog titles that were well known and could be still sold "Greatest Hits" style.

Majesco released the model 3? (I never had one) That's crazy to me! Things went South with Sega at an alarming pace around that period. I still love Saturn and the DC, but holy liquidation, lol. I've read Console Wars but must have missed that tidbit.

Yep, that was all them. Sega just licensed all that to them while they were busy with the Saturn and prepping for the DC. Majesco ended up re-releasing 20 titles and then Frogger as the last official release for the console.
