A friend of mine had a 1970 CZ400. It was a brute, torque monster, 4 speed (1 up 3 down if I recall). It had a yellow tank of the pre-coffin design. Great bike, it was a real workout to ride it.
The CZ 400 and the Falta version are dead reliable. I ran 4 years on a 400 and only had to replace tires, chain, fluids, brake shoes,and rings and. Same piston. I Still have my Falta, it sits on display in my old man cave.
Great looking Zed. Just an FYI, the tank and seat are not stock. The original tank was the "school bus yellow" tank with the huge rear hump and lower seat.

I had a 72 yellow tank 250, the hump in the stock tank was brutal. I replaced it with a plastic coffin tank like yours..
These were described in the seventies as tending to fling lots of rocks, i.e. *rock-spitters.*

seats close to stock but taller...tank is a clone of the '73 on alloy tanks.....72s had the nut buster yellow tanks with rubber knee pads
