    Birthday candles are my solution for my own limited focus.

      Birthday candles for quick spells is the most brilliant thing ever! How have I never thought of this? 🕯

    When you said imagine a voice of someone you dislike, I immediately thought of a certain loosing politician! Then you said it!

    I really like this type of video! I liked seeing what you do while also hearing about the reasoning and related concepts behind it.

    Love this and the outfit! Totally stealing using that certain politician's voice when I negative self-talk, that was brilliant!

    So I have diagnosed OCD that I do see a therapist for, and it's legit all intrusive thoughts....so I freaking love this and it's wild that I came across it...perfect timing

    I found your channel yesterday and already had a good binge session with your videos. ☺️ I‘ve been interested in witchcraft for a while now but it never felt right to dive deeper since I don‘t really believe in supernatural things. Somehow I felt witchcraft can be beneficial for atheists too but I rarely believe in my own ideas. So thanks for being a voice I can trust. 🙏🏻 (Now I just have to learn how to believe in myself. 😅💪🏻)

    Please excuse me as I stare at this entire video in absolute awe of the grandeur, the aesthetic, the sheer awesomeness.

    Thank you so much for this video! I'm seeking professional treatment for OCD but I love this spell for those tough moments in between counseling appointments. You have a wonderful way of explaining things!

    I love this spell, thank you for sharing it 🖤 it reminds me of what I learned in therapy about challenging negative thoughts, it's pretty much the same thing, but having the visualization of the candle and incense is really helpful. It definitely helps me to anchor my abstract thoughts into something physical.
    Btw, I've been watching more of your videos and love everything you are sharing! Your outfits are awesome too 😊🖤

    A nice meditation I discovered is The Thought Pot (on Insight Timer). It has helped me a lot, especially if I can't sleep at night...Great video, Sedna, thank you very much! Quick question, can a 2nd candle be used instead of the incense? PS. Beautiful hair colour and glasses, love them! :D

    Thank you! I'm still observing this stuff to see if it's right for me. I'm hesitant because: 1. I escaped a very spiritual, "woo" filled Pentecostal background and 2. I don't know where to start. I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety lately and I can see how some type of ritual like this might help me. I hope you post more videos like this in the future!

    This was fabulous, and the candles/incense is such a great way to deal with intrusive thoughts forming stronger patterns in our neural pathways! I have intrusive thoughts regularly about death (of my loved ones) and a fair bit of negative self talk. Right when you started talking about imagining those thoughts in the voice of someone you don't respect, I thought of a certain cheeto and then you said the same person! It's a great voice for making basically anything sound ridiculous. I'm 100% going to use that idea. Thank you!

    Lol, that certain politician was the first person who popped into my head when you said "someone you have zero respect for"

    Thank you for this video! I'm so glad I found your channel. I had never heard of the 'throw it away' technique. How handy! And I love this spell. It's simple and meaningful. Its very accessible. Thanks again!

    I like your crunching up the paper & throwing it away analogy, I'll try that. Usually I try hard to stop & observe the thought without any emotion and question why it suddenly popped up. Hard to separate emotion during sometimes but working on it. =)

    Even though I am an atheist, it seems to me that using an actual thread might help with the visualization piece, especially for someone like me who has focus problems. Might make it seem more concrete, IDK. Just spitballing. What do you think?

    • @SednaWoo
      @SednaWoo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      As long as you burn the thread safely! I think that added element could be really tactile. Some folks write down the intrusive thoughts, burn them in your cauldron, then put the ashes in moving water. That would be this ritual dialed up to 100.

    I’m asthmatic and cannot use incense. Any ideas for alternatives?

    • @SednaWoo
      @SednaWoo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The idea is to destroy or to send back into nature. A safer way would be to tear up the paper and bury it. Or you can write on wafer or rice paper and dissolve in water. This will also "release" the invasive thought back into the "universe, void, nature, etc"

    If memory is so unreliable why do people rely on their memories?

    • @SednaWoo
      @SednaWoo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I certainly don't rely on my memory. I write everything down, I keep a calendar, and I take a lot of photo and video. I rarely rely on my memory alone because memory is so unreliable.
