I have a D&T recording where he prefaces the songs as "about someone I was in love with for a long time & it didn't quite work out like I planned..." after the song was over, he was noticeably shook up, and apologized for "getting caught up in the moment." he then said that since then they have made up and are good friends.

hey im a huge dmb fan, but i thought the original track of halloween was supposed to be 12 and something minutes, now dont get me wrong, im grateful you uploaded this, it brought a lot of memories back. i just remember the song being well over 11-12 minutes. thanks again!
