  • Do you have a Desk Job yet suffer from TENNIS ELBOW?..
Tennis elbow also known as Lateral Epicondylitis is a painful condition that occurs when the common extensor tendons in your elbow are overloaded, usually by repetitive motions of the wrist and arm. Despite its name, athletes aren't the only people who develop tennis elbow.
Most commonly grip dominant sports have a high prevalence of tennis elbow due to the overactivity of the flexor / pronator muscle group. This overactivity causes a translation of the radial head opening up space for the common extensor tendons to be fractioned and compressed. This compression and friction starts the degenerative process.
This elbow condition I have also heard it referred to as Computer or mouse elbow. Basically this is the same thing.
As mentioned before It’s a repetitive stress injury characterised by muscle pain, tendon pain, or a combination of both. Known medically as lateral epicondylitis, it is caused by repetitively gripping and squeezing of an object.
