So, you talk about Augusta Mall, and show Surrey Center ? Why not actually show the stores in Augusta Mall ? Last time I saw the Regency Mall in late 2022, they had started tearing the walls down. After 20 years with no stores and the decline of the area, the walls really needed to come down. The once booming shopping in the area from Service Merchandise to KMart and Winn Dixie are all gone because of the deterioration of that part of town. Richmond county has greatly declined since the mid 1980s and noticeably since the mid 1990s. Most folks in the surrounding areas do not suggest moving to Richmond County. If you consider moving here, walk around here first and talk to locals before considering moving. You might be glad you did.
Oops! I have an editor who isn't from here and I was trying to get the video out on TH-cam... I'll have to get shots of the mall next time. (it's super time-consuming to get video of every single thing I talk about and I am just beginning to work on getting content of Augusta out)
actually Augusta does have a great mall and is multi story but as far as regency mall the mall now under construction again and getting a new make over right now augusta is starting to get really crowded and congested now entertainment here is getting great the new arena there allot on the way to augusta you don’t halft to drive to another city to do shopping when there’s allot moving and already here
The mall isn't bad and we do have some great stores that have moved in- I have definitely been places where their malls are smaller. :D. Thank you for commenting!
I have lived in worse places and I have lived in better places... but I actually really like Augusta and have been here for over 20 years. There are politics anywhere ;D
The homeless problem is a bit much but all in all Augusta is an ok place to live. I like the slower pace.
I also enjoy it here. 😊
