Those Kenda tires are amazing in all conditions and top quality brand: I got them for my brother as I am a tire snob. Grippy, stable in curves, traction in gravel, mud or soft ground when compared with regular 1.95 to 2.1 inch wide tyres.
I am seriously tempted of this bike -> wish there was a software way of trading range for higher top speed on demand!
Wish they offered a "water bottle style" of the battery even if range would be less amazing -> stealth e-bike!!
Thank you for the review - subscribed!

hey clauzone! sounds like you’ve put these tires to the test. glad to hear your feedback on them. and you make a fair point about the top speed… maybe they could offer a version of this bike with a higher top speed for those that need it

You guys are the first to do a review on this bike, finally. This to me is a RAD City killer. ADDMOTOR nailed it with the price point and components. Only CON i see is the 20mph max speed. With a battery that size, why not a 26-28 mph max speed. If i buy this bike, i will use your link Brent.

twice in one day! we are fortunate indeed. :)
and right on. i didn't know that actually. but that's cool. i hope they are able to keep the price where it is. this really is a sweet ride.
look though, the top speed is actually groovy because we're trading it for torque. i don't know, i think for me, that's what i'd rather have on a commuter with a hub drive. bette for those hills and a heavy payload you know what i'm sayin?

Brett has been a busy guy lately, lots of new models coming out in this relatively new industry, although I am seeing more and more of them around these parts. This one should be good enough for a nice, long bike trip. Ride all day and then charge the battery at night. As long as you pedal along, it should give you enough range for a whole day's riding.

      @electrifiedreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

yessir! man i think you're exactly right. one could literally ride all day with this in the lowest pedal assist setting. i think i'd want a seat post suspension though. :)

I would buy this bike right now if 1# The weight capacity was higher than 250lb, i weigh 225Lbs so thats a no go! I also wish they could squeeze 25mph out of this bike!

I bought it today and had no problem with it pulling about 100lbs in a child trailer, about 20lbs in my saddle bag and I weigh 265lbs. 25 mile ride 👍

Higher torque, lower top speed seems ideal and safer .... you come off of a stop more quickly, clearing traffic safely and a top of 20 MPH should be max for a commuter bike you take on sidewalks

Goobfilm! hello again, my friend. i think you're exactly right on all counts. we'll be doing an e-bike safety must-haves video here shortly... it's long overdue!

I just bought this bike in the e-43 form, test rode it, and everything works fine. I have one problem, however. I had a friend assemble the bike while I was at work. He may have unintentionally thrown out the 2 keys to the battery with the packing material. Addmotors website says they won't replace the battery keys. What should I do? Thanks for the help.

I was thinking of getting a Grizzly v2.0. I was going to get that 15k watt Enduro, but I have to save my money, for a place. Also, the Enduro looks just like a dirt bike, and I don't need these cops, climbing up my hiney =)

That might be a good one for the "boss", she doesn't like mid drives....My neighbor bought a magicycle, it's too big for him(bad wreck), and he owed me some cash, so he gave it to me, that's too big for mama, I put another motor on the front wheel, it's a beast now...And I have a couple home made bikes with the Bafang mid drives, need one for mama, that's mama sized...HMMM..Peace..

wait a minute... you put another motor in the Magicycle? we need to see this. can you upload a video of it? any hill tests? we're actually reviewing a dual motor next week that i'm pretty stoked for. i think you'll dig it.
always a pleasure seeing you. peace, my friend. be well.

I want to like these bikes, but they always have the same flaws. For one, the colors are traumatizing. Plum Crazy Purple, pl0x! Also, they always put in some dinky-assed hub motors. 500w, wouldn't get me out of the driveway. I'm 240 pounds. And I live in a hilly area. I know, "Well, lose weight!" No, I'd rather pay for a motor, that can tote my butt, up a hill! =)
