Ian is 100% dialed in as a comedian. He could literally do a full set without having any material, just banter with the crowd. He is at the top of his game and doesn't get the recognition that he truly deserves.

Very blue his political choice seems to show more and more it should not be so yea in his show because people are noticing apparently. We have paid to see him live and own his shirts but recently we don't wear them out because twice we have had someone make reference to his democratic affiliations expecting a reply as to why we would support that!? However we prefer to keep our political preferences private so to avoid another public situation we wear them around the house only now.

As for him being 'blue' as in 'Democrat,' I'm not sure. He's a Canadian by birth, so he may not even be an American citizen, blurring any 'blue' or 'red' affiliations.
Personally, I'm a socialist and live in the UK, so I vote 'red.' We don't wear our politics on our sleeves here, and neither do we have to register our political affiliation.
