    Very clean and clear view of the rear. I'll start working on this area later this year.

    This video was a life saver. How did you lift that diff in there alone? Awesome background music

      Glad you enjoyed it! It took a few tries to get it in there 😄

    All manuals would have said to mount it that way since the R180 is what would normally be there. With the R200 it needs to flipped to accommodate the larger diff

    Nice video, saved me some trouble. One comment though. When torquing for the love of everything holy. Stop torquing after the 1st click. You are over torquing when you click it 2-3-4times one is enough 😊

      Lol...
      Tested, calibrated, and usually expensive wrenches one click will do.
      Cheap, china, uncalibrated, old...she gets multiple clicks 😄 🤣

    Sorry I’m so late to this video but what’s the belt for that’s around the driveshaft end?
    Pretty cool video none the less

    • @hcr-motorworks
      @hcr-motorworks  ปีที่แล้ว

      The original belt was there to help prevent the diff nose from lifting too far under acceleration. I used an aftermarket belt to accomplish the same purpose. Most people upgrade to the Ron Tyler diff mount with urethan isolator but this build didn't warrant it.

      @@hcr-motorworks mr. hcr.... did you actually set the torque on the half shaft fasteners?? seems impossible unless you got a trick....

    • @hcr-motorworks
      @hcr-motorworks  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @joem6859 yea we torque everything spec. You just have to rotate the half shaft to a position that you can slip a socket on the bols, or use a crows foot.

    What lift do you have?

  • @MindDezign
    @MindDezign 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It's your first Z so you don't know this stuff. " Like you bolt the front nose mount to the nose and then mount it to the cross bar. But these are the things you only learn after you make mistakes. It's how every body becomes a Z expert. So your on your way.
    I'm in the middle of rebuilding Z heads.Ate lunch and watched your torment.
