Dealerships are far too big, they don’t feel like dealerships, more like fancy warehouses. It looks like a mod more than official. UI for customisation looks bland and uninspired.
Both the classical pieces in TDU2 and TDUSC’s trailers came from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. TDUSC featured the first Winter movement, whereas TDU2 got Summer’s third movement. If anything, that’s a neat call-back.

This is a really cool trailer, but one thing I'm concerned is the music. Not the classical music or anything, but the fact that they went pretty much all around the radio stations in this video and there was no single real electronic music song even though that was big part of TDU2 for me. I'd be lying if I said I won't be disappointed if this trailer reflects the music selection in the final game. I don't count that one pop song in "Absolute Club" as electronic. Where's the trance, house, techno? That being said the variety of music is sounding good

The environment details is amazing you can see the rooms from the street before he turns off-road. With the car’s design I’m not impressed, Gran Turismo wins car model realism with its attention to detail. Over all I’m impressed with this new gameplay

They are not the same at all a triple A studio has a extremely large budget with a huge staff. TDU has a significantly smaller budget with a significantly smaller staff. Gran Turismo is supposed to look like perfection they are the standard. Gran Turismo for PlayStation and Forza Horizon for Xbox. Both games have had years to build and make there games graphics to what we see today. As you can see this is literally TDU’s first game all over again. They haven’t made a game in 11 years so this is first game they made it from scratch. Forza and Gran Turismo didn’t start from scratch they’re still using the same engine GT Sport Engine and The ForzaTech Engine. They’ve been using those engines basically since the games have existed. TDU has no original engine like those games that they’ve been developing since the beginning they’ve switched engines over time.

And the Unlimited games weren´t exactly AAA either and believe it or not, far from perfect on the development side. Maybe Test Drive 2 including 4 add-ons was, dunno... So far I can´t see any sign that this studio can´t hold up to "the heritage". If they meet some nostalgic expectations is another question...

I will say they're really nice, but I do kinda miss the more "traditional" dealership interiors and styles like in TDU2, I'm not really complaining though, at least we have them lol
one thing im really looking forward to are the club/houses. would really love to see them nail the same vibe as the TDU2 especially the one where you can go on the rooftop and just see the beautiful coastline. hopefully it ticks all the boxes i need in a racing game that's lacking in forza horizon games that im also a fan of.

It looks great. Just want to point out that the shadows under the 8c spider are not looking right. Also the lighting when the player is done buying the 8c spider in the dealership. Thank god there are different camera modes. Nobody likes the stiff Gran Turismo camera.
you´ll get used to it quickly. I can mostly speak from experience in Euro Truck Sim 2, switching between main land and the UK works well after a couple of hours :)
This game looks really promising! The won thing that was concerning is that when the mustang went through the speed trap the player got 20,000 solar coins, which is quite a lot for a speed trap, I know this is early alpha, so I’m hopping that that’s just a place holder value. But other than that I literally can’t wait for Thursday LOL 😂
Tdusc needs the new z as well as bmw’s, more mercedes, and audi’s, as well as more representation of more asian brands (especially from honda/acura, and the kdm brands). KT/Nacon have some bread for some decent licensed car manufacters that would make it an alternative to tcm and forza horizon.

Doesn't necessarily mean dollars. It could be trying to equate more to the Chinese Yuan. If you do the math, that equates to about $90,000 USD. The paint would equate to $1700 with the same conversion.
How cool would it be if you could also spec the transmission of your car from the dealer (if it came with a manual & auto option irl)? Then on top of that, you would have to drive that car with whatever transmission you chose; for example: dct/smg cars, you could choose to drive in either full auto or manual. 3-pedal manuals, you could only drive in the manual w/clutch setting. And automatic cars (the old non-dct/smg/torque convert ones), you could only drive in full auto. That would change the entire dynamic of the game (make it more realistic) & also make choosing/speccing a car an even more important choice!
as much as I'd love that, it wouldn't be helpful for those on controller, or those who may not be able to play in manual, and feeling forced would deter them from the game. I'd love the idea though, but I think at the same time it'll get some pissed XD
I know there probably going to have no customization but would be cool to have tuned version of certain cars like nismo Z tune for R34 or the bosses gets their own custom version of the cars

Engine sounds n environment sounds are beautiful but we’re going to be real here the graphics here looks like a PS4 game. We’re almost 4 years into the current GEN cycle and graphic still looks off

I'm sure as time goes on traffic will keep improving, I have seen a build with much more traffic, so let's hope they can get the game optimized and traffic added to it's maximum capability. You will find traffic that passes by will flash if you come into their lane which I almost did a few times. Also, plate personalization is the last thing you'll see implemented. Remember it's an early build so stuff like you won't see it until closer to launch
I’m loving this trailer 😭 The only criticism which I hope they address is dynamic turn signals. For example the mustang clip. I don’t know if non USDM mustang have non dynamic turn signals like that but it would be awesome to see the turn signals match the real life car.
Both songs are from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. The song playing here in the dealerahip is the first movement of Winter from the Four Seasons and it's one of my all time favorite classical pieces. Perfectly suits the elegance and vibe of an Italian dealership.
One gauges for all car is sucks. Very terrible and this unbelieveble for cruising game in 2023. I play in TDU 1 more then 10 years and i like unique gauges for all cars. This is just sad.
in fairness bro, it's not an easy task. Cars back then had simple analog gauges but we are in a time where a lot more are digital. So you need to now create gauges in a 1:1 box, while still having placements for the parking brake, hazard, TCS, ABS, in the UI at the same time. That's not going to take 1 day to do, and graphically they have to be significantly improved. No way can you just slap TDU1 or even TDU2 guages and the game will look very outdated. They have to improve them a lot, and add more detail. We'll have to wait and see what they come up with come launch. I hope it'll be a UI more people can enjoy looking at the amount of people that have brought it up. Let's hope for the best.

A long time ago a race game I've forgotten which one it was possible to select which camera views to use scrolling through 5 views to get inside and outside the car is annoying I only need 2 views inside to outside of a car. Alex ask KT to put a camera editor in tdusc.
I hope that they take something like horizon’s driveatars (but not so erratic) just so there is interactable ai (as on you can convoy) and maybe offline car meets in single player for people like me with shit Australian internet

TDU has a significantly smaller budget with a significantly smaller staff. Gran Turismo is supposed to look like perfection they are the standard. Then on top of that, you would have to drive that car with whatever transmission you chose; for example: dct/smg cars, you could choose to drive in either full auto or manual. 3-pedal manuals, you could only drive in the manual w/clutch setting. And automatic cars (the old non-dct/smg/torque convert ones), you could only drive in full auto.
That would change the entire dynamic of the game (make it more realistic) & also make choosing/speccing a car an even more important choice!
as much as I'd love that, it wouldn't be helpful for those on controller, or those who may not be able to play in manual, and feeling forced would deter them from the game. I'd love the idea though, but I think at the same time it'll get some pissed XD

The new trailer has given my amazing hope for the TDUSC.
I know there probably going to have no customization but would be cool to have tuned version of certain cars like nismo Z tune for R34 or the bosses gets their own custom version of the cars
•Too static.
•No suspension movement.
•No body roll.
•The roads are too flat (should be higher in the middle "crowning" and have subtle deformations + roadside gutters/storm drains.
•No pitch under acceleration and braking.
•Is oversteer or stepouts under power possible? Like fish tailing? Spin outs? Donuts?
I highly appreciate the fact they have real world cars as the AI/NPC driving around the world.

I'm sure as time goes on traffic will keep improving, I have seen a build with much more traffic, so let's hope they can get the game optimized and traffic added to it's maximum capability. You will find traffic that passes by will flash if you come into their lane which I almost did a few times. Also, plate personalization is the last thing you'll see implemented. Remember it's an early build so stuff like you won't see it until closer to launch

The only criticism which I hope they address is dynamic turn signals. For example the mustang clip. I don’t know if non USDM mustang have non dynamic turn signals like that but it would be awesome to see the turn signals match the real life car.

One gauges for all car is sucks. Very terrible and this unbelieveble for cruising game in 2023. I play in TDU 1 more then 10 years and i like unique gauges for all cars. This is just sad.
in fairness bro, it's not an easy task. Cars back then had simple analog gauges but we are in a time where a lot more are digital. So you need to now create gauges in a 1:1 box, while still having placements for the parking brake, hazard, TCS, ABS, in the UI at the same time. That's not going to take 1 day to do, and graphically they have to be significantly improved. No way can you just slap TDU1 or even TDU2 guages and the game will look very outdated. They have to improve them a lot, and add more detail. We'll have to wait and see what they come up with come launch. I hope it'll be a UI more people can enjoy looking at the amount of people that have brought it up. Let's hope for the best.

A long time ago a race game I've forgotten which one it was possible to select which camera views to use scrolling through 5 views to get inside and outside the car is annoying I only need 2 views inside to outside of a car. Alex ask KT to put a camera editor in tdusc.

I hope that they take something like horizon’s driveatars (but not so erratic) just so there is interactable ai (as on you can convoy) and maybe offline car meets in single player for people like me with shit Australian internet
