Do you have SCHD in your portfolio?

I hold 5700 shares and I plan to keep buying until I have 10,000.

I don’t currently hold it but maybe later on. Very nice to see the passive income. Congrats.

SCHD makes up 15% of my after tax account. I plan to DCA and get it possibly up to 50% of my portfolio.

I like the plan if you plan on living on dividends. SCHD is about 15% of my net worth.

@AverageJoeDividends I think my long-term plan is to continue to fund my 401k, and my after-tax dividend income portfolio for the next 20 years or so. Then in retirement I plan on mainly living off my pension while continuing to fund my income portfolio with the previously mentioned 401k. I don't plan on living an extravagant life in retirement but I do plan on living comfortably. I'm more into building generational wealth for my kids.

Great analysis, thank you! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?

if I'm just getting started with SCHD, does it make more sense to start buying them in a Roth to avoid taxes in retirement or just in normal brokerage account bc of qualified tax rules which could mean 0% in retirement when I have no w2 income... pending no major tax law changes. I never hear SCHD videos talking about tax strategy for this ETF

When do you plan on returning? I am going to retire early, so I also have SCHD in my taxable brokerage account along with my IRA.

If your goal is income, you are invested in the wrong fund. $2400 dividend every 3 months? Invest in FEPI. I get more than $3k a month with less invested.

If you need income NOW, perhaps FEPI is a better option. I want growing income and SCHD grew their dividend over 12% from last year. What is FEPI's 5 year DGR?
