Hey guys, I hope you are doing well :)
This week, I'm bringing you on a stroll in Lévis, a suburb on the south shore of Quebec City. This is a place that I am not too familiar with, even though I see it every day from across the river. I wanted to discover the older part of the neighbourhood. It happened to be Halloween too! I hope you enjoy this photo walk, I certainly did, it was one of the last few nice days of fall here in Quebec, now, it's a lot cooler and there's snow. Enjoy the tones and hit me with me on IG, I'd love to connect with you guys!
    Enjoy!

I used to live in Montreal and I miss Quebec so much. I live in Nebraska now and I'm going to have to live vicariously through you for shooting up there!

How has the black paint job held up for you? I notice it can scratch pretty easily. I’m wondering if I should exchange mine for a silver version.

We visited Quebec in Aug2019 and it’s such a beautiful city. Thank you for showing the Quebec suburbs and your Fuji 100v. Looking forward to more of your work 🙏

Hey, man, I absolutely love the photos! I think they look extremely dreamy and warm. I've been looking to buy the X100V for a while now, and after watching this video I might just finally commit to it!
Just one question that I had - how do you get that diffused look/halations on just the highlights? It's something I've tried doing, but failed at again and again. I would be extremely grateful if you could help me out here
And again, amazing video! Looking forward to a lot more!

Hey man, have you looked into a highlight mask with a simple gaussian blur?

All the shots have a dope vibe to them. Are you using a pro mist filter?

Thanks, man! Glad you enjoy the editing, it's definitely a new style for me and I've been pretty consistent with it for the past year! Would you be interested in seeing a "how I edit" video? Let me know :D

Great colour, was this post work or a recipe straight out of camera? Would love to know the settings.

Hey man! Thanks for the feedback! I have some base settings that I stick too such as white balance and film simulation in the camera, I use classic chrome (I think it's the best!). Would you be interested in seeing a "how I edit" video? Let me know :D

@@nomondayclub for sure. Im looking at buying an X100V myself. Chasing that 80s gold look of film. High kelvin value I see alot seems to work, How you get that Portra faded look also in camera?
      Thanks from Australia

@@erikleypoldt8275 There's quite a bit of editing in lightroom, I'll try to come up with an editing tutorial/approach video soon. But there's not a straight out of camera setting that replicates my style, it's something I've polished over the years! Scene selection and colors are more important than the edit. For instance, I don't shoot in rain or overcast days, it lacks the contrast I'm usually chasing when out and about shooting street :)

@@erikleypoldt8275 Spot on with the Portra comparisons. I think it's more Portra 160 than Classic chrome....
