I don't think anyone did! The Anglian region honestly has both extremes now; 321/3s have spent their entire service life on the Anglian region, yet the 322s have worked in various different parts of the country!
Thanks Daniel. I honestly didn’t expect the 322s, this was their first run on this region under their own power with Greater Anglia. However much I try, even when I know it’s going to happen, it still makes me jump haha! 😂
The Imperialist, thanks for watching! This is one of those places where there is a fair bit of variety at the moment but that will shortly disappear with the newer trains replacing everything 😞
Howdo Tornado, I’m looking forward to seeing yours. This was during storm Francis and the wind made me loose my grip on some shots! Was the 321 still dumped in the bay platform when you went? The Greater Anglia staff told me, quote “it’s duff” haha!
@@StarlifeStudios I can't complain, although I came down on a Saturday so there were engineering works taking place that weekend which means GA were working to an amended timetable which did mean that I didn't have as many services as I would have first liked turning up but I still have plenty of variety nonetheless. The 321 was using the bay platform during my stay there as it was running shuttle services to Walton-on-the-Naze, but I was here a few days before you so it could very well be the case that particular 321 had developed a fault over the course of the two weeks that followed
Great video mate. Nice to see ex. Northern Rail Metros class 322s from Clacton C.S.D depot to Ilford E.M.U.D, lots of Greater Anglia class 745/0s not 745/1s (they're on Stansted Express brand) but sadly no freight trains show up which is disappointed hahaha.
Hi Arnold, yeah no freight.. This video was filmed during storm francis and Felixstowe container trains weren’t travelling because of the risk of cranes loosing control in the wind (hence the reason that freightliner was dumped at Colchester at the start of the video) There’s also a stansted at the end 😃
StarlifeStudios Rail Videos close..there is a bit of a dispute between Abingdon (Oxfordshire) and Colchester being the earliest recorded town in the UK 😊👍🏽 As for oldest City, not sure there? Im sure London, York or Edinburgh will be very good contenders 😀👍🏽
GATrainSpotter05, I have 5 other videos from the Anglia region already recorded for you 😃 It’s just a mater of time before they’re out. As it stands, I’m staggering my videos from different regions so that it’s more interesting for my viewers.
Nice video! That horn on 321442 was quite unexpected! Quite an odd sight to see a Class 322 on the mainline. Do you think you could be able to visit Bishop's Stortford on the West Anglia Main Line? You would spot the 745/1s and 379s, 317s and possibly a few freight trains.
@@StarlifeStudios yeah looking forward to them I’ve done a couple videos of 321/322s on my channel and much more so happy I found your channel because there’s so much to watch
Nice! I’ll take a look at those videos when I get a moment. It’s great to see the 322s back ‘home’ even if it is only for a short while. I have almost 100 videos from over 7 years. Don’t watch them all at once. I hope you will see the development over the years as well 😃
Nice! 2:18 Strange noise!
Never expected the Class 322s to return to the Anglias after so long

That first GreaterAnglia train gave you a fright 😂
Damn right it did Lunatic! 😨
Nice video 👍
Nice vid and makes a nice change that someone has filmed from the other end of the station 👍
Good vid nice catches especially on the ex northern class 322 btw i jump sometimes from the train horns they're so unexpected

@@StarlifeStudios Sadly that is true.
Next video Watford junction ples
Another brilliant video! I really enjoyed this :)
Thanks Trainspotter11! 😃👍🏻
Excellent film bud, I've still yet to upload my film from Colchester but you certainly had better weather than me!!

@@StarlifeStudios why the ex Northern metros 322s are running late
/1s are being used on Norwich fairly regularly at the moment due to the reduced Stansted Express timetable. 108 was even the last one in this video.
Can't post a comment as I live in Tasmania , But , Enjoyable & thank You !
Your comment is coming through on my side in Europe. I am glad you enjoyed it!
Very good video 😎👍🏽 Did you know Colchester is the oldest town in England? 🤔
Is it EJC? This is a bit of a strange place to be the oldest, I expected it to be somewhere like Oxford! Learn something everyday 😃

So close! Oxford was just a guess based on what I’ve heard so far. Thanks EJC 😃

Yes but on WAML dont most freight trains go from Harlow Mill?

Welcome back 322s to your retirement home lol
Why do the 321s sound weird on arriving
It’s the tracks that do it
good
sounds in thameslink 1:29
5:07 they came in way too fast
It certainly was quick Oscar! It almost caught me off guard.
