Note how the last two lines of text and their melody are taken from the "Lied von den morschen Knochen" (popular song amongs the nazis) and put into a new context here.
Although the actual lyrics in Es zittern die Morschen Knochen are "Und heute, da hört uns Deutschland" not "gehört uns Deutschland", "which translates to "Today Germany hears us, but tomorrow the whole world"
@@Musikus1871 hear me out: I actually quite like that controversial song, despite my political orientation being completly contrary to that of Hanns Baumann (the author of that song). BUT it is not clear what the "original" lyrics say. The earliest written source (the songbook "Wohlauf Kameraden!") that gives the lyrics to that song is from 1934 and actually says "gehört und Deutschland". Only a later source from 1936 says "da hört uns Deutschland", also containing an aditional stanza that points out that some people misunderstand the song as being pro war and subjugation. I don't think that it is important anyways what the lyrics say. "Claiming the world" is a motive that doesn't exclusivly appears in right wing/nazi songs - there are many examples for leftwing/communist songs that contain very similar lyrics. Surely the lyrics of "Lied von den morschen Knochen" can be seen criticised, but for me it's not the song that is evil. Evil is what was made of/with it and the people that did it.
@@derstoffausdemderjoghurtiswhen leftists talk of ‘claiming the world’, they mean joint and mutual liberation from international oppressors. Obviously right wingers mean something else when they talk about ‘taking the entire world’.

the song is sarcastic and mocking nazis
Like Ernst Buschs "Kälbermarsch" and "Marsch in's dritte Reich", this is a song mocking the national socialists.
