From a Lions fan, thanks for the love. One of the coolest things about us getting good has been seeing non Lions fans respect and even rooting for us 🙏
@@baileypb1790 all of us over here on this channel want Detroit to win it all. Possibly one of the best feel good stories of our lifetime. Fingers crossed for the rest of the season !
I worked at Ford Field for 15 years and was there for the 0-16 season. Needless to say, I am super excited to see them play as good as they have been doing. Here's hoping they can have another great season.
Side note: the clip with the two lions appearing like they are fighting each other, is actually Carlton Davis being really upset about a call and being a little too overly aggressive towards the ref, so Kirby Joseph (basically the captain of the secondary) is pushing him away from the ref and attempting to calm him down. Dan Campbell would never allow two Lions to fight each other, that is totally against our culture over here.
As a Life Long Lions fan, it is so nice to be able to be backing up our hopes. I've had jerseys (Spielman & Calvin J.) and we in Michigan NEVER stop cheering or hoping. I'm a big defensive fan...Rodman with the Pistons, McCarty with the Wings. Our state needs this...not just the city...we have never given up.
As a Lions fan, this game was amazing!! They also put Calvin Johnson's name in the "Pride of the Lions" in the stadium. Not a bad way to go into the bye week and rest some key players like Frank Ragnow and Brian Branch who didn't play
You gotta be excited about this one as a lions fans!! It’s so awesome to see how they have turned the corner and become an incredible football team. Not to mention, megaton was one of my favorite players to watch growing up. At times he and Stafford felt unstoppable, even despite the team struggles they were still facing. Could not be happier for the city of Detroit, and all 3 of us here at the pod are cheering them on!!
the 1990-91 season was the first Lions season I can remember following, I was a kid but it's the first I remember. Me and my family have been forever loyal Lions fans, my grandpa since the 1940's, my dad and me. I'm not taking these years of success for granted and I am learning to just enjoy every minute of it. It's time for the football gods to forgive whatever grudge they've had against us and let us win one.
Great video, yout reactions to the highlights are priceless. I'm a Detroiter and have been a 50 year Det. Lions fan. I am extremely proud of them and look forward to the best season in Lions history. One Pride! Go Lions!!
I love this. You fans that have stuck with them through thick and thin are the kind of fans that make the NFL great. Celebrate them at their highs, stand by them in their lows; that is what it’s all about.
Lions fan here 34 years old, have lived in Michigan my whole life started watching Detroit football in 1997.. Up until the lions beat the packers in lambo in 2022 I have had zero confidence in the organization.. As they could never build a “TEAM’’ even tho they have had incredible talent.. So yes it feels great and we appreciate your support as you seem like you genuinely love and respect football.. Also since lions where very disappointing growing up I choose a secondary team to root for in the AFC and it was the stealers because they play with grit toughness and hard hitting football like we like from here so i enjoyed some great moments behave of your team.. Hopefully we meet in the superbowl
This just made my day, it honestly makes me happy to know how many ride or die lions fans are out there and have stuck with their team through thick in thin. They are an easy team to love and all 3 of us here on the channel are cheering them on.
Been a Lions fan since 1998 when I was 4, my grandfather passed away last year before playoffs, he'd been a fan his whole life too. I wear his Lions shirt every game to honor him and watch the game with him. He would've loved to see how great we are this year. Rip Pops you were the man!
This is awesome, wishing nothing but the best for those boys playing ball in the motor city! You fans are incredible, I am sorry for your loss; it sounds like we lost a legend. Prayers go out to you and your family, hope the lions continue to make you guys proud!
This was a fantastic game for my Lions! I was actually there, and it was SO LOUD my ears were ringing after we left. Extremely excited to see what happens this year!
You know what's crazy, a lot of us lions fans grew up also being Steelers fans too! Tons of them here in Detroit. The bus is from Detroit and y'all won the SB here with him! And dude the 08 season was the 0-16 I believe. 8th grade sucked lmao. Love the respect you give us man and W reaction! #OnePride 🦁
Oh wow I didn’t know that there were a lot of Steelers fans in Detroit! Appreciate the love!! All three of us here at the Channel are pulling for the lions!!!
Lions fans are cautiously optimistic after last year and the start to this one. Concerns are health. Our pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow has been injured missed this game but his backup is pretty good, and he's also our starting LG. So there's some shifting inside that happens. 3rd year guy Kayode Awosike has done well and we have a couple others that are good too. Biggest issue is we lost our starting SAM LB Derrick Barnes for the year on a low block vs the Cards. They played Malcom Rodriguez and Jalen Reeves-Maybin to compensate. Both are good in they're own way but Barnes was the only guy we have that can play SAM. Might have to alter the defensive formations a bit, maybe go to more of a 5 DB base which will be good when Brian Branch comes back hopefully this next game. Also missing starting safety Iffy Melifonwu. Hasn't played this year and Branch has slid into the safety spot with Amik Robertson playing nickel. We also lost starting DE Marcus Davenport for the year, which fans totally expected. Still no 'dude' opposite Hutch, who is the defensive player of the month, leading in pressures with 40, the next guy has 20 something. Lions have great depth for the first time in a long while. The team has been built right. Still a couple pieces missing on defense. Terrion Arnold is good but adapting to the NFL and getting lots of flags. The team adapted well to the missing players on defense but the Seahawks seemed to figure out the weakness by the 2nd half. DK is a beast to defend and most teams don't have a DK and a K9 to worry about. As usual we have trouble with mobile QBs that get us for big plays. Need the D line to step it up.
Fun Fact: Amon Ra is QB3 for the Lions if anything happens to Goff or Hendon Hooker. Also Goff went 18/18 in this game for 292.. I been a Lions fan forever and was watching when that 0-16 Season happened it was horrible, but seeing where they are now would make any fan happy. Gotta clean up the Defense and get these young guys up to speed in the system and we're gonna be scary. #GRIT💙
@@TwoandAHalfVirgins No worries. In the full game he went after the ref, Jack Campbell steps in and corals him away from the ref, then he goes back in at the ref... then Joseph stepped in (what you saw) and I think he still got a flag. Guess he REALLY wanted that second penalty.
