Gen, love your videos. Can you explain your pre-shot routine? I notice you do a one practice swing before you stand behind the ball along with the target line. What are you thinking and what is the purpose of that practice swing? I think I might have to copy that routine to make sure I shift my body weight to the left foot cause I notice when I did a bad swing, I did not complete that. Thank you.
@@GenevieveLingGolf I have the money but nobody is flying anywhere this winter. I hope we are back to normal soon so I can start booking flights and hotels. I have never been to Malaysia, I almost did 30 years ago, was planning to go to Penang but it never happened for one reason or another.

Nice vlog Gen. May I ask - how do you control your distance on putts? Is it by knowing the pace/count from ball to hole (and factoring in slope and grain)? Or it is purely by sight/feel? Thanks!
You should get paid from the Malaysian tourist board for showing the golfing world these courses and the courses should give you more money for showing them in such great detail...!!! Quality shots, quality videos.

That throw wasn't too bad but keep in mind that almost all the rotation fundamentals for a golf swing apply to a throwing motion. Load up on your right leg, stay stable, use the ground, finish balanced on your left.
It seems like you use a closed stance (lining up to the right of the target) and leave your shoulders more aligned to the target. I was wondering if there was any reason you do that in particular? I did this to correct my slice. Thanks Gen!

Throwing?... 4/10! 😂 Love this course! When I carried the scoreboard for Jeff Overton's group (CIMB 2012) he hit a tee shot at the 6th... I followed it's flight, looked great, then started to fade... straight in the drink🙈 I saw the splash & said "F*ck!" The 3 players & their caddies turned round😳 and pointed at the big TV microphone that was by my feet🙈😂
You're throwing is atrocious - just saying. However - your commentary on what you are doing, how to adjust your position, and even on misses, is exceptional.
