    A plan is your strategy or methodology. Boiling it down it's basically when youre getting in, when you're getting out and the size of your positions. It covers money management as well, which is a fancy word for calculating position sizes based on risk/reward ratios and probability of system acquired through backtesting, hedging. The best MM book I've read: Money Management Strategies for Futures Traders. For a general overview probably start with the market wizards by jack schwager.

    Comparing to other similar sites:
    • We pay more: 50-80%, others 30% or much less
    • Faster: we pay till the 5th of next month, others on 25th or later.
    • We have more brokers: over 70 at this moment and are adding new ones all the time.
    • We use many payments methods: PayPal, Webmoney, AlertPay, Moneybookers, Neteller, Credit Card, Bank, etc. Others only Bank or PayPal.
    • And there are many more things that distinguish us and our program from the others.

    I believe a trading plan is very important however if you have a trading plan that is not profitable you will not make any money. Before you get your plan you must confirm that the trading system or method is makes money first with statistics from backtesting and forward testing, once profitable you place a trading plan around that system to help you consistently trade that system.

    easy, a plan is just a plan xD, for example, lets see you make back test and fine a strategy that works for you ( a strategy is a series of rules that you follow to enter and exit a trade )
    so strategy would be th first criteria you will need
    2, psycology ( the best example for this is when pple get out of the trades when they shouldn't just based on emotion.
    3, money management, ( how am I gonna risk per trade, how much should I win etc ) thouse 3 together form a trading plan.

    Sir,Do you recommend pairs trading using forex( say EUR/JPY & GBP/JPY OR AUD/USD & NZD/USD)--correlations are 90% and that gives solid staying power & sharply cuts down draw downs. Buy underpriced pair & sell overpriced pair(say using 14 period RSI on 4H charts)? And there are lots of such pairs with 90%/80% correlations--and ALSO that would sharply cut down accounts blow ups even with A new trader.

    Imagine you are planning for a trip. You need to know what time you nee to get up, get ready, the tickets are to be planned well in advance, the hotel booking and cab to pic you up need to be arranged, the cost for the experience need to be made available of forex, the necessary additional dressing and other things that you need like your phone and inform the people that need to be kept in loop about you travel and destination if anybody need to pic you up and other insurance and needs to be taken care. If you have made all the above, you know there would not be much of a problem. The probability of any issues are less if you choose the hotels and airlines with good rating. this same is applicable for when some one say about a Trading Plan ... A plan to do know what you want to buy at what price why you want to buy and what price you want to sell and how long you are ready to hold and so on ...

    What is a good example of a successful plan? Of course people need a plan but a plan could be to buy on Monday afternoon and sell on Thursday morning; or to buy on rainy days and sell on sunny days. Cutting through the crap..., just what is an example of a successful trading plan? I just spent 4 minutes listening to the obvious. I just need a plan to be successful. I plan to buy low and sell high! Does that make me successful??

    writing it on paper doesn't mean that your gonna be success LOL, that's pretty obvius, what he means is that EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE A PLAN AND FOLLOW IT!!! that's it, writing it on paper is just a good way to be prepare for the losing trades ( mostly for newbies that get scared when they lose or wanna change their strategy without making proper tests ) when you get use to loses and still profitable you R ready, lose is part of the game. Well that's my personal opinion what do you think? :)

    He says a trading plan equals consistent profit , I do not think so. The graph has no plan as it does its own thing due to the massive random variations of underline reasons for its movement so how can a plan deliberately help a trader to win. It makes me laugh when the graph makes a particular pattern and then people, using strategies, imagine its telling them whats going to happen next, hahahahaha Lol

    • @snowboardzilla
      @snowboardzilla 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      A trading plan does not tell you what is going to happen next on a trade by trade basis. A good plan identifies patterns in Collective human behavior and gives you a higher percentage of winrrs over a series of Trades, not on a trade by trade basis. You don't need to know what is going to happen next to make consistent money. you just need to be able to play the game over and over again as you know you have an edge by following that trading plan. There is a random distribution between wins and losses On Any Given set of variables that define an edge and that is what kills most people, they can't stick the following that plan even though it is a consistently profitable strategy over the long run.

    SCALPING IS USELESS. Many brokers already knows scalper's strategy, and therefore here is how they operate - suppose more than 50% of scalpers are short at 2pm. Their SL is 6 points. The broker calls Big Fishes on Wall Street or London or Hong Kong and asks to artificially rise the price by 7 points. Therefore all these scalper's positions gets closed, they loose their 6 points, the broker and the Big Fish are happy !

    What a bunch of beating around-the-bush-bollocks 😂 Trading is about having your TP hit as much as humanly possible. If you aren't, you are not making money. Simple as that. Strategy is everything! Any idiot can risk 1% per trade and be disciplined, but if your equity curve is just a random walk chart as a result... well... that's no good, is it? You're either a bunch of frauds, or you are just that good at keeping secrets from the general public.

    • @rafalzasada8826
      @rafalzasada8826 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +GUSTAWSON Trading is not a scam. Trading courses and other products are scams in 99% of cases including at least some guys featured on MoneyShow (guy in this video, another one is Chris Dunn - highly skilled marketer and persuasive snake oil salesman who is fooling people with his enthusiasm). Another thing, which is not a scam but rather manipulation, is that brokers reveal traders' profitability only for each 3 months so they can claim 30% success rate. Unfortunately 3 months data is almost meaningless - it's just by pure chance, anyone can catch short term trend. Only reliable data comes from Taiwan Stock Exchange which is centre for all national trading and which is willing to reveal all data. Based on that long term profitability rate in retail trading is about 1 %.

      Trading is not a scam if you use a reputable broker. Please let me tell you that all the mentors trainers sellers of strategies and systems and signals make their money from just that. I have seen hundreds of forex videos and they are all marketeers who use forex as a way of making money by selling a dream and its just so obvious.
      Forex is gambling on an unpredictable graph movement always. Its unpredictable because trillions of pounds daily by millions of traders cause tipping points on the graph which change its direction spontaneously and without notice.
      Once you learn the fundamentals which can be done in a day and you have an amount that your happy to win or loose in a session, then have fun but use a reputable broker and only use money you can afford to loose.
      If people win when using skills strategies signals training mentoring etc, its not because of the latter but instead because they took advantage of a run in a particular direction which they could not have deliberately foreseen, and could have been done by guessing anyway.
      When people take a win or a loss, the graph could still continue or change direction which they have no clue about other than saying look I was correct which in hindsight, anyone can do.
      Teachers are selling something that they cannot prove works because there is no mathematical formula other than the one called BS pardon me.
      I am only talking about the forex graph scenario where the only information you have is a simple average depiction of a massive and ever changing financial world full of different combinations of underline reasons which are impossible to ascertain. and which give the graph life.
