The way Kimi lets Verstappen by immediately when he notices there is something wrong with the car is a sign of experience and maturity.
In 2017 and 2018 Kimi was in Ferrari to avoid Vettel to be champion. He was quick to let the Red Bulls go by but tried to obstruct Vettel as hard as he could. Check out China 2017, Max & Ricciardo passed him in one lap but he obstructed Vettel for 20 laps. Vettel came up to pass the Red Bulls but was not able to catch Hamilton. Kimi, Arrivabene & Binotto are sore losers.

I don't think I've ever seen such a dangerous manoeuvre than Grojean's today. So lucky no one made a direct hit into him, the halo could of actually been needed for once!

Haas has probably got the craziest pair of racers at the grid. If K mag and Grosjean start giving sensible performances, Haas can finish this season as the fourth best constructor.
Magnussen is one of the most impressive drivers so far this season. It's down to pure bad luck, that he hasn't got twice as many points as he has right now.
He sure did. Far out in front actually. Just like he did in Bahrain, and as both he and Grosjean did in Australia until the pitstop failure. In China, their single pit stop strategy didn't work well due to the safety car late in the race and in Azerbaijan, his car was badly damaged due to the collision in the beginning. He has been delivering for HAAS this season, who cares if some of the other drivers get pissed at him?
There always has to be someone to stir the shit, otherwise it's boring. Plus, Its a head game and Kmag is fantastic at it😁

Yeah, seems like a crazy decision. His momentum was taking his car away from the track so locking the brakes would have kept him off the track. Seems he chose to gamble at the expense of other drivers to keep his car out of the gravel or wall and continue his race by putting his foot into the throttle. 3 grid penalty seems lenient to me. And I'm a Hass supporter.
Ericsson hit Grosjean
Is it starting to become more and more obvious why Ferrari haven't won a championship in 11 years? Yes, clearly. They could genuinely be half a second quicker than the rest and manage to screw it up with strategy. Vettel won't win the title this season, he's had at least 2 guaranteed victories and a podium this race taken away by ridiculously awful strategy from Ferrari, and this is a trend that has been the case for ages now, and will be in the future. Didn't they see his race in Bahrain, Vettel can make tyres go longer than they should, they knew overtaking Bottas would be impossible if they somehow caught up, they had track position, and gave it up for no real reason. I could go on about the fuck ups Ferrari have made in the past, but theres too many to count. Ham will win again this year, even thought it looks like Ferrari is quicker overall.
Vettel said himself he couldn't go longer on those tyres cuz Pirelli messed with them to benefit Mercedes.
The other times it was just all bad luck with safety cars. If Ferrari was faster, how did they not catch that damaged RedBulll?
It's not Ferraris fault, they were doing what they could.
Well it's not like Vettel is going to come out to the media and say his team messed up, he probably would have said the same thing in Bahrain if he made another stop, I reckon he could have made it to the end, even if Bottas could get past him, you'd rather be 3rd than 4th. Bad luck with safety cars is not a reason he lost races. In China, he was behind Bottas when the safety car came, because for some reason Ferrari waited forever to pit, even though they knew Mercedes had to pit as they were unsafe to Verstappen, they could have pit on the same lap, but Ferrari preferred being undercut, so Bottas had a simple undercut to take the lead. Yes he wouldn't have won, but a podium would have been likely in China instead of 8th. And in Azerbaijan, Vettel should have mirrored Bottas' strategy, as Hamilton was out of the running for a win, but for some reason Ferrari pitted him, risking a safety car ruining their race, when they didn't need to, and it did ruin their race. They did catch Red Bull for a while, but by the time he'd caught them the tyres wouldn't have been good enough to make overtakes, so they probably just saved the engine at that point, especially as overtaking around this track is impossible. I maintain that if Ferrari and Mercedes swapped strategists, Vettel would easily be leading the championship right now.
Main problem for Ferrari was exessive tire wear...
If Vettel could make it to the end in Bahrain, then he could make it to the end in this race as well.
Not really Pirelli brought in thinner tyres for three races(the tracks that are resurfaced, spain,silverstone and France). Ferrari gets the temp in the tyres faster than Mercedes. That's why Mercedes were a bit off in some tracks because Ferrari could get the temp in but merc couldn't. However, because they used thinner threads in this race and they will use it in two other races Ferrari overworked the tyres causing more tyre wear while apparently these tyres fell perfectly in Merc's working window. Bahrain and Spain were different scenerios. Vettel wouldn't have made the tyres last because tyres in this race were thinner than in Bahrain race. Nothing to do with defending your team

i really don't know how grosjean never lost his drive to someone more qualified. he rarely didnt cause an accident every race he was in. he even affected a championship outcome. now that he's in indycar, it just goes to show how outclassed he is by other drivers, some of which probably wouldn't ever even be considered for formula 1.

one of my problems with F1 is that many of its races require an incident for it to be interesting, you literally get commentators saying "a safety car would make things interesting a this moment" look at the chinese gp, only after the toro rosso crash and safety car did the race wake up from its slumber. You mention that the race wasn't as tense as the ones before and instantly get insulted as "Ferrari fangay" - or the other way around when VET is on 1st. Don't mistake people who comment on You Tube as being representative of ordinary people, or anything other than nerds and dorks, myself included, if not especially. We have a world stage, and it's hard to stay cool and understated when we can exclaim loudly about controversies that may or may not exist. (That doesn't refer to this tire thing, coz I don't know.) And maybe we spend a lot of time online because we tend to be more socially inept in other environments? That's certainly true for me, as a person with autism, but it's not an excuse for finding controversy or picking fights, or any other act of unkindness.

Baku 2018: Sirotkin makes a mistake, hits on brake lately on the 1st lap, barely touches Perez, both cars intact, Perez on podium = Sirotkin got penalized by 3 places loss on the grid and 2 penalty points.

SRXLDBZN 419 I would say 40 on Stroll and 60 on Max because Stroll indeed was breaking pretty hard for the end of a turn (I don't now why someone would break at the beginning of a straight even if he wants to warm up the breaks), but Max was way too quick on the throttle and was predicting/hopping instead of reacting.

I just love the way the paint scheme of the Saubers; for whatever reason the white with the blue (it looks blue which I believe are Alfa Romeo's colours) trim as viewed from the front (if I'm describing it correctly) just looks better than the paint schemes of the other cars to me.

I think Magnussen has definitely proven that he is at least a "decent driver".
He's not Mad Max levels of crazy. I think he is just an aggressive driver, not overly so. Unlike Max Verstappen he hasn't crashed into other drivers in every single race this year.

Disagree. If it hadn't been for Vettel being held in pits while another car (Perez?) came in he comes out ahead of MV with fresh rubber (albeit not the best tyre for the circuit). It was a good call that just didn't work out, unlike some of Ferrari's other calls this season and last.

Don't think Ferrari made a mistake, way to much money to make a mistake, i think that Vettel just made the call, so he went in, otherwise he would kill his tyres. Don't forget Vettel made his stop way sooner then Max did, so if there was an mistake, its up there.
