The QB hurries and improved pass rush will mean those inexperienced corners won't have to cover near as long and can even sit on the shorter passing routes. I look for the secondary to look much improved simply because of the D-Line improvement.

It's pretty clear that the Colts were interested in trading up for one of the big three wideouts, and they had some concerns about AD Mitchell.
At pick 46, the Colts traded back rather than picking Mitchell. With Mitchell still on the board at 52, the value was just too good to pass on. But it's important to note that Mitchell was pushed down the Colts' board as well.
Mitchell has elite traits in terms of speed, agility, and separation, but motivation, effort, and focus are question marks.

I am truly stoked by the draft. I think our CB’s are better than most think. If healthy, and if we can increase our pressure rate (it was terrible) then that secondary gets much better. Then everything we added weapon wise? More O depth? I don’t think it could have gotten much better. Two of our most important needs covered by top end round 1 talent? Yea please.

My gut says to keep Kwity. I understand it’s a passing league but most of our d line is filled with pass rushers. Latu, Samson, Dayo and Tyquan are all best at pass rush. There’s a benefit to having a run stopping edge like Kwity

@@marvinhunt8276 Buckner stuffs the run up the middle. What happens when they decide to run an outside zone? You need a run stopping edge to seal the outside.
