Hey Jamie !!! So, you're in the middle of the road, between limp and crispy. I can respect that. I love getting the thick cut bacon, so you can cook it a little more and it's still chewy inside. As far as the Death Nut Challenge goes. I think I'm just gonna have to go ahead and do it when I get a chance next and I feel like having my insides tore up 🤣🤣
Heck yeah, on the flimsy bacon !!!! 😁😁 For me, even when I buy a meaty pack, there's still enough fat on it for me. I don't care for the texture of fat, so i try to avoid it 😂. Thanks for your input 👍
Nice Hexclad pan! I want to get some of those pans and pizza sheet some day! But I don’t know about cinnamon on bacon, and I like my bacon crispy. Not sure if I’ll try this lol
Thanks ! I actually bought mine from Costco's website. They're pretty good so far, but the jury is still out on how good they are, as we've only used them a handful of times so far. The bacon actually isn't bad, it's not like it's caked on cinnamon flavor, but it's there in the background 😁 if you make it crispy, you may not notice it so much. Perhaps i should've done half flimsy and half crispy to see how the taste differs. Of course, I think of it now 🤣🤣
Yeah, why mess with a great thing ?? 🤣🤣 It's not bad, actually. I wouldn't want it to replace all bacon 😁 Great minds think alike !!! I'm happy to hear that you're a fellow bacon digger 🤣🤣 I don't know how others can just grab them. Some packs are almost pure fat.
Interesting lol but I think I’ll pass! Smoked bacon is yummy. Just thinking in a few months you’ll be wearing multiple layers, winter is coming haha! And I’m definitely a crispy bacon person but I’d eat either or!
Yeah, ya can't beat smoked bacon. I enjoyed eating this bacon, though, but it's bacon, it'd take a lot to ruin bacon 🤣🤣 So, you're one of those crispy people 😂😂 That's for sure, I'm dreading winter. Once October hits, anything goes, as far as weather goes 😂😂
So you don't want a fatty pack of bacon but you're not opposed to the sugar content from the flavoring of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the extremely high sodium content?
That's correct. I'd rather have a meaty pack of bacon with high sugar and sodium rather than a fatty pack of bacon with high sugar and sodium 😁😁😁 I didn't even think to check the nutrition of it.
@@NicksHappyPlace The word "bacon" comes from the Proto-Germanic word bakkon, which means "back meat". It may also come from the Old French word bako, the Old High German word bacho (meaning buttock), or the Old Teutonic word backe.
@@Premiumj9 Thanks for the lesson in word origin. I often wonder how words started, that it took one person to say it, then it caught on around the world, as well as secondary meanings of a word.
great vid, nick! I like my bacon a little chewy but still pretty darn cooked. are we still going to see the death nut challenge?

Fat is flavor...like my bacon 50/50 meat to fat ratio. Flimsy bacon all the way!!

My grandma use to bring a scale with her lol I though she was crazy 😂😂😂
That's an interesting way to do it 😂😂 Guess you get the most weight that way.
What in the world lol I have to try it
🤣🤣🤣 I think you'd enjoy it 😋
I am a flimsy bacon girl
Heck yeah !!! Flimsy bacon rocks !!! Great minds eat alike 😋😋
They shouldn't mess with Bacon, the god of foods, Bacon lol looks interesting though. Lol, I look for the meatiest even when it's on sale.

Nooo why make this !!!!!!! I been a bacon expert for many years 😢
Hey Kayla !! 😂😂 Yeah, that's a good question. It's actually not bad. Awesome to hear that you're a bacon expert. That's a great area of expertise 😁😁
Mm I love some bacon 🥓
Heck yeah !!! Gotta love bacon. I wonder why they call it bacon when you don't bake it, you fry it ?? 😂😂
@@NicksHappyPlace I actually think baked bacon good too because it gets nice and crispy while staying flat.

I hate limp meat.
🤣🤣🤣 I guess it all depends on the situation 😂😂😂
