    To be honest the SSIP providers can offer a Deemed to satisfy route to satisfy their accreditation with another provider to make the process a lot simpler by not having to do a full audit.

    • @RebrandingSafety
      @RebrandingSafety  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah great point. Some do then still ask additional questions and some even still audit regardless because they are all trying to show they are more indepth

      @@RebrandingSafety Yeah it's because each provider has a particular standard that they have to meet. Think it's mostly due to the fact that they still want to look like they've done something rather than completely piggyback off another provider and hand a contractor their accreditation.

    • @RebrandingSafety
      @RebrandingSafety  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah they are all trying to do more than the original SSIP standard to stand out. Unfortunately, in my opinion, that takes us away from the original intention of SSIP.

    Your videos are really informative and helpful. I do wish (just my opinion) that you would stop swearing on these videos though. They would up the professional tone of them, particularly in a field that already is seen as a (necessary) headache to most contractors and clients. It is also quite jarring when we are focussed on the technical points you are discussing. Just my opinion; but the swearing seems completely out of place and unnecessary. Thank you for the information

      I'm glad you find the information helpful. Unfortunately, we will have to agree to disagree. It's frustrating that people label words as unprofessional when it's the context and tone that is actually important. Our style is our style and those words, which are just words which society have decided to put a "unprofessional" label on, will remain. Thank you for feeding back, though, and we really appreciate the politeness of your feedback as well. Additionally, we have found that our customers find our style and manner refreshing from the stale and boring style that safety is normally associated with. We also think that's its a cultural thing for example, Australia's culture is much more accepting of so called swear words, UK mostly accepts it but not as much as Aus, then other cultures don't accept it at all. Finally, and most importantly thank you for watching our videos.

    There’s some really good content here, it could be a professional set of Videos, but I feel it’s let down by the swearing and a “safety professional” making a video while driving.

    • @RebrandingSafety
      @RebrandingSafety  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Leigh, thanks for the kind words. Swearing I don't really have much to say about to be honest. Some people express things in different ways. Personally I think the context and tone is way more important than the words. I have been treated horribly by people who didn't swear even once, yet I still think about their words for years after. We're also able to 'read a room', and it depends on the audience we're trying to reach. The people who consume our content on TH-cam and TikTok appreciate the swearing and it helps convey a message. In another setting however, we wouldn't use profanity; it wouldn't be required or make the message stronger. We're on a mission to 'Rebrand Safety' so we're happy that what we're doing is at least making safety content feel more accessible to various different groups.
      The driving, yes I have reflected on that a few times. Not sure what my "profession" has to do with it but anyway. We do take steps like setting the camera up and getting it ready before we go then leaving it till we stop. However we have stopped doing the blogs at least for now and that is not the main reason but it was a consideration point for sure. Playing devil's advocate though most documentaries have interviews with people when they are driving so if the camera is set up and not being fiddled with whilst driving then there is an argument there to say is a risk but a managed one. I don't disagree with you though. I am very much on the fence with the driving and recording point. Thanks for the feedback.
