There seems to be a convergence on ponds being built at around 5500 gallons which may workout on the maths of optimal for heating/treatment costs etc...but the majesty of seeing such a stunning collection in that size pond is quite breathtaking. We tip our hats off to you Lee (and the family)
Never knock a Nexus , what a lovely pond and water condition . Doesn't test Doesn't need to because he knows that water is bang on , great video . Enjoyed that!
Wow !! What a amazing pond and garden !! That’ll take some beating !! Shows what a nexus can achieve !! I run and nexus and seive and happy with the results I’m getting
Great pond and fish, interested in how Lee gets on with the wire system to deter Heron. Thinking about losing my net and going down the wire route myself .. my pond 4m x 4m
I do love a circular pond this one is stunning imagine if it was a few bricks high with rolled glass windows….. it’s immense very impressive. Quality fish too
@@TimWaddington I like the natural filtration pond also I planted my 4 tier Bakki with reeds and various plants it’s the stainless steel Momotaro so I’m not worrying about stress is the material. They have grown like wildfire Tim there’s a mini jungle sprouting out me Bakki it’s doing good for the water too . Goldfish fanciers are really paranoid about plants and they can transfer nasties but the koi seem tougher than the fancies I’ve kept
Lovely pond, by the way what do you think about pool ponds? In other words using one of those circle or rectangular shaped big pools that you buy from stores and build. Of course with a filter and all the essentials
@@TimWaddington thanks for the reply, appreciate it. One final question, what do you think about parasites? Because to be honest I’m kind of hesitating about making a pond because of them.
Great pond. It's inspired me to build my first koi pond. I'am almost finished the filter house. Could you tell me where you got your struts from? Thanks
Wow and big big pond makes the fish look soooo small , do like the bog pond water fall good idea , some people have a great eye for detail , and i love my nexus , same clean every 3 to 4 days tho in summer every 2 days to get rid of fines
Wow, that’s a pond! Stunningly done, must have took some digging! Does that wire installed like that really keep herons away? I ended up covering mine with netting but if wire like that works would be interesting, great video Tim!
Refreshing to hear he doesn't test the water. Just let the pond crack on 👍
Nice to see a pond that enhances the garden. Beautiful pond.
That’s a lovely pond with a great garden to go with it.. a pleasure to watch the video
Great upload and Pond Thank you Tim, Love the Pond!
Lovely to see a pond with loads of room for the Koi to swim. Please dont overcrowd it like so many do!

Yeah it seems to work. They can’t get near the pond.
Nice
I noticed the wire around the pond, what kind of predators would bother fish this size?
Beautiful pond and garden!
I think he put it up at the start. It’s not needed now
Staggering. What is the depth and diameter? Fabulous achievement there.
I’ll check
@@TimWaddington Any news on size?
6m diameter. 5’deep. I know because I glassed it.
What was the depth? And what were the pumps were they set to 100%?Always nice to see a curved pond.
It’s about 5’ deep.
Why are the water brown?
Maybe your screen is dirty
@@TimWaddington no it's not but the water looked a little brown and ask because mine is the same so ask for tips to remove the brown.
@@Darkelification he put a blanket weed treatment in when I left, there was some in there
would you pls tell me are you a millionaire?
