It feels weird. I never actually was on a bigger bus. I was always on a small little bus as a kid since I didn't go to a public school and all I was a private school kid

also, some buses I think they should add: Thomas EFX, Thomas HDX, Thomas Minotour (Chevy Chassis), Bluebird Micro Bird G5 (Ford Chassis)
Ic buses would be great. That’s what I have at my school.
The cross bar in the front of the bus is not to keep them from crossing. It's meant to force them to walk further out in front of the bus so that the driver can see them when they do cross in front of the bus and the driver can tell them it's safe to continue across.

Here’s a tip for bus stops if the arrows are going through then it’s not the stop and if it’s not then it’s the stop.
Loving the Bus Sim videos! Fun fact: until about 2nd grade, all I ever wanted to do in life was drive a school bus! Have loved them since. Thank you school bus drivers!
Jeff, on my controller, I put the red override, crossing arm and open door to the same key. Makes it easier

Thomas buses are a NC native species (built in the Tirad) and such an integral part of so many of our childhoods. I’m a little too old to have ever ridden in one of these new body styles to school, but I drove one when I was a school bus driver as my college job!
It's interesting to me that the game makes you manually put out the crossing arm. In the IRL Thomas C2's, and most other buses with the arm, it is automatically deployed when the warning lights are enabled, and the door opens/closes. The switch on the inside of the bus is to cancel the crossing arm if you didn't need it for some reason. (Source: I'm a bus driver)
Also, for further RP purposes when making stops, the bus is put into neutral and you hold the brake, instead of enabling the parking brake (even on automatic buses)

Currently for highschool I ride 2 routes since I travel to actually 3 different houses since my moms house isn’t in the county so I go to her house on the weekends but as I’m typing this on the bus I ride a 2021 Thomas Hdx for one route at my dads and a 2023 Thomas c2 Jouley for the other at my nanas

Jeff is one of my dudes, he's hilarious and educational they're probably could be a lot to learn from you bro, I like the whole flight simulation thing and I just like watching you Ryan and bugs working together as well, you probably would have been a great teacher or a great instructor if you haven't done that before, you could make awesome instruction videos, all of this stuff takes away some of the things I got going on in personal life, I'm thankful and I'm blessed but this also helps me to get my mind off of other things sometimes watching yours Ryan's and bugs videos a little bit more entertainment and happiness I believe to a lot of people that are just looking to escape some of the things they have going on and just to be able to laugh and find some kind of joy in ways, that just helped escape God bless you for that brother. God bless Ryan and bugs the best three gamers in my opinion, you're amazing content creators to don't stop doing what you're doing God bless you I just pray all of this help somebody and I just pray everybody or anybody can escape through this that needs it you know so we appreciate all of you for that man.

When I was in high school my bus was a Thomas and the driver and I became good friends. Sadly recently she passed away but she was a bus driver for over 30 years. She always told me funny stories from her kids doing funny stuff to morons like you experienced in the game Haha. Keep up the awesome work. Thanks for riding Bus 127 I'm Eastbound and down Out!. LOL
Concerning your move to do right red with school bus around 10:30. It depends on the location and the company.
Most of the St. Louis area drivers are not allowed to per company policy but when I was driving in VA it was allowed and encouraged
This one is definitely a 2011 model it looks to be a pre-DEF bus with the 2011+ mirror placement therefore this is a 2011

edit: The potholes in the bus sim 18 and 21 are the worst part of the game (the negative points on it anyway)
I was noticing that, the graphics look horrible along with the rain effects. The wipers don't even wipe the rain away. I always loved buses but could never get into any of these simulators because they just aren't that well done.
Now that's a school bus; I remember being the only nerd in school drooling over school busses 😂

The thomas c2 is prob the best school bus ever made for kids. Riding one as a kid is like riding in style as the interior is massive and feels as if your riding a fancy coach bus. Beats it out of the water compare to what blue bird and IC CE had to offer.
If you ever ridden in one of these c2 before your childhood is awesome.

I never liked the c2 because of the high back seats. The bluebirds of the same year models had the same.

The Saf-T-Liner bus holds a special place in my heart, as someone who rode home in several different buses over the years. I thought it looked so cool the first time I saw one. And it was always the nicest bus to ride, because the other ones were definitely older, more beat-up kinds in my district.

I used to drive a 1978 Volvo B59 then upgraded to a old 1983 MAN, EX Brisbane city urban route bus. (Australia) then a Leyland tiger PMC body with the pneumatic selector. I then left school buses for urban service and started to drive Old Mercedes shit boxes body by Denning lol.

Hey jeff I had a question because when I play bus sim, I sit ridiculously high when I'm driving buses and I want to ask you if you know how to change that. And GREAT content love the work you put into it!!
I wish you could adjust the graphics settings to make it so the 7 different bus side view and rear view mirrors are visible at all times. Using all of the various mirrors is a hugely important part of driving the real thing. I know you can turn on mirrors that are always visible, but there are only two of them and they don't have everything needed to drive a school bus.
This is a fantastic game, I don't have the highest quality laptop for gaming yet. I'm still able to really enjoy the game with excellent graphics. Also a big school bus enthusiast, so huge plus there. I have to agree that the C2 is probably the easiest to control and drive, but it is fun driving some of the other buses as well. As a kid, my school district always had the bluebirds.
Love the game and your videos, really hope they optimise it one day. Playing at 20 fps with a gtx3080.......

The “game” parts of this game really hurt it I wish the stupid judgment system wasn’t so anal with the smallest little things. Hit a bump at 30mph get a freaking violation. Leave your stupid turn signals while going straight get a violation. It’s annoying as heck.
My week was okay up until last night when I did a Windows update. Now my PC is having issues running games except Minecraft so I have to figure that out now.😢

Fun fact: Thomas is owned by Daimler, who also owns Freightliner. The chassis chosen for the c2 is the same on the freightliner M2.
