I love the style but was concerned about all of the stress points that would be made by the rubber bands so I just linked the braids together by braiding one braid into the next braid and let me tell you! It is gorgeous! Thank you for putting me on to this hair!
Yes that’s another method I like to use too.
But I think this is very good for those who aren’t able to braid well too. So I love both ways 🥰🥰
This might be for people that have a hard time braiding

THANK YOU! You saved me time and money! I have short hair in the front and it's hard to catch in corn rows. I only did 2 rows with the rubber bands and then started the cornrows. I crocheted in my locs and my hair is FLAWLESS! I will be watching more of your videos.

So cute and great idea on the parting and rubber bands. I can’t cornrow for nothing so I can never do crochet on myself but I wish I could, I mean I’ve watched enough videos 😂I might try this method but all the way through. Looks gorgeous though!

I just realized that I have a question: Did you have any trouble with the rubber bands breaking while your hair was in this style? Just concerned about longevity as compared with cornrowing it all. I like this look better.
