I appreciate the crochet videos so much because it’s like a lot of hair TH-camrs moved to mostly wig installs and although there’s nothing wrong with wigs, I’d rather see protective/natural styles
My aunt gets crochet a lot but no one has ever did her braid down this way, when I did it for her she wanted to just keep the braid down as a style she was so in love 🤣🤣

@jackiekent8720 Yes around the second week mark, due to my foundation braids being a little too loose. But I definitely recommend it. I still have the hair and will reinstall soon.

I will be doing my hair like this for my birthday ❤ UPDATE: First of all, my arms were dead tired doing the braid down 😫. Because I haven't done my own hair in a while, it took longer since I took breaks from start to finish. But babyyyyyy, the hairstyle is eatingggg!!!! And what I loved most about it is that I had the control of where to sew down the ends of the hair during the braiding process. The amount of times I've had crochet styles that put pressure on the top of my head, and it's always the same spot that starts hurting after 2 days. Now I did follow the crochet pattern in the back, while in the front I added more hair in between as I like a really full look. But when I lifted the braids in the back and said, now THIS is versatile! The whole hairstyle just MUAH 👄.
@@KitOurchen hey! I used the mayde beauty 3x modern soft crochet hair in copper. Turned out beautiful! Unfortunately as all bohemian type hairstyles do for me, tangled to high heaven lol. But I will do it again with different hair.

I am72 years old, but I enjoy my twist & braids. Love this...I'm doing my twist right now using the illusion method, but I did not know what to do with the back. Thanks for showing me how. I have seen the back done with circular cornrows also, but I can't seem to get the hang of that. This is beautiful, just as you are.

Eventually I’ll try this. I just paid this sykist $415 to do boho braids but it didn’t look like this at all. I was very disappointed. She did an ok job but it was only worth about $200. So as usual I’ll just do it myself and it always comes out nicely and better than what I paid for. Thank you
Was inspired to do this on my mom. I did the same braid down technique with 8 larger boxes boxes and stopped at second row and installed crochet butterfly locs and made the high ponytail. She is loving it. Thank you for sharing your tutorials. You're awesome! 😊

But, being the hopeful true believer in Christ I am and achieving most everything I've ever set out to accomplish in life despite those who didnt believe in me or God saying I couldn't. Thank you for your special gifts and qualities that God has so blessed you with and for not hastening to waste them. Rather, you have chosen to acknowledge and attempt to master each and every one as you continue on in this most wondrous journey called life. I have damage/ stunted growth from wigs in the front middle and direct middle of my head from wigs, so I’m excited yet nervous to try this method and hair. I bought this hair for my birthday (coming up in May) but I’m gonna try the braid method/ rubber band method with boho passion twist first. Wish me luck 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

I too wear it up pretty much always lol I usually just cut a thick rubber band, flip my hair upside down and tie and tuck it. It holds great and comes off easily when I’m ready.
Great video! I just tried it and it took me 4 hours just to do the parting/braiding. I gotta rest and soak in epson salt before I finish in the morning. My arms on fire!😂
I would love to see more videos for natural hair I have fine shoulder length hair but it also very thin and curly I mostly just do a pony tail because it so thin you can see my scalp so watching these kinds of videos gives me hope that maybe I can do something else with my hair
