I went through a similar situation. My hostel warden would sometimes insult me because I couldn't always pay my fees on time due to my family's financial issues. However, I studied hard and eventually landed my dream job. Now, I'm living in peace, taking care of my parents and siblings. This is how I've overcome the difficulties of my past and I'm grateful for it.

ഹോസ്റ്റൽ നൽകുന്നതിന് ചില മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്. വീട്ടിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ദൂരം, പഠിക്കുന്ന കോഴ്സിൻ്റെ level/ nature എന്നിങ്ങനെ. പക്ഷേ കേരളത്തിൽ പല കോളേജുകളിലും യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റികളിലും ഇതൊന്നും പാലിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. പലരുടെയും വേണ്ടപ്പെട്ടവരെ ഹോസ്റ്റലിൽ നിർത്തും. വല്ലപ്പോഴും മാത്രം ഹോസ്റ്റലിൽ നിൽക്കുന്നവർക്ക് പോലും റൂം കിട്ടും. Students hostels ൽ teachers ന് റൂം കൊടുക്കും. ദൂരേ നിന്ന് വരുന്ന കുട്ടികൾ കൂടുതൽ പൈസ കൊടുത്ത് പുറത്തെ ഹോസ്റ്റലുകളിൽ നിൽക്കണം. എവിടെ പരാതിപ്പെട്ടിട്ടും കാര്യമില്ല. ഇൻ്റേണൽ മാർക്ക് പോകും എന്നല്ലാതെ വേറെ ഒന്നും സംഭവിക്കില്ല. വേലി തന്നെയല്ലേ വിളവ് തിന്നുന്നത്.

ഞാനും ഡിഗ്രിക് മെറിട്ടിൽ കിട്ടാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ ഉരുകി നിന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. Meritil കിട്ടിയില്ലെങ്കിൽ മാനേജ്മെന്റ് ക്വാട്ടയിൽ പൈസ കൊടുത്ത് കേറണം ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട സബ്ജെക്ട്, ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട കോളേജ്.. ഞാൻ ഉരുകി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു. ഒരു രൂപ പോലും അന്ന് എടുക്കാൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ലഒടുവിൽ കിട്ടി ലാസ്റ്റ് സീറ്റ്‌.. 2001 to 2006 PG കഴിയുന്നത് വരെ എനിക്ക് ഞാൻ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട കോളേജിൽ പഠിക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു.

I donno how many of u can relate this to their life..But i had faced similar situation in my life.. Recently when i got admission in a "Govt College" for doing masters(Literally it was my dream for having a masters in Mathematics), the deptl head wrote a receipt owing me to pay an amount which i was not able to pay at that moment.. and i was not aware that one needs to pay for a course fee for getting admission in a govt college since before hand all the admission procedures were processed by me with the help of my parents.
I talked to the sirz and madams those were on that premise, no one heard me...I promised to pay later but they insisted me on immediate payment since the amount had already been logged.. Anyhow..atlast i lost my opportunity..I felt devastated, cried like a damn kid over a shattered dream..It’s incredibly hard when everything you’ve envisioned collapses before your eyes like a castle in the air...!

I am lawyer studied in government law college. My parents died early i took tuitions for my expenses during the course and i had scholar ship, it was struggling but i knew without pain i could not attain my goal. So, i could complete my course and now i am an independent lawyer.. In my opinion Money may have a border line but our desire and hardwork to attain the desire will not have. I met both the teachers who treat students on the basis of money or not. Take our choice and let others in their own way and concentrate our own life enough.. The future will be better👍

I been there.. i took an educational loan for doing masters. Studied with kids who were coming from rich families.. living in the hostel with them .. with not even a penny in hand.. every month i had to pay the hostel fees and then could claim it from the bank. but every time when my parents arrange the money the hostel fee will be overdue ..for waiving off the extra levy on hostel fees i had to write an application letter to principal and wait for his mercy.. some times he was very rude and told me this cannot be done.. and hv to pay the extra amount.. value of even three hundreds rupees was more than a million that time.. i couldn't even cry in the hostel room .. every time i used to cry in the bathrooms.. I studied .. now i have a job which pays me in lakhs... but the scars and the humiliation will never be gone from us.. that only belongs to people like us ..those from the poor and middle class.
