- Which exhaust should you get for the 2020 BMW S1000RR? I met up with Griff, a fellow owner in Austin, over at Motovation to compare my Austin Racing equipped S1K with his SC Project equipped bike. These are two of the most popular full systems you can get for this incredible machine. After comparing our bikes, we took them out for some speed run fun. Which do you like better?

The high pitch on the sc exhaust i used to think was the bomb but after hearing the deep rumbling austin racing exhaust thats definitely the winner for me

I dont think he races like that. Just his reaction hitting 180mph seemed like a first time reaction. I doubt he will go in the 190+ on every run.

Dope Video.. Dope sounds on both.. tbh they are best to me!! And its a matter of preference. SC to me just sounds smoother and more GP like.. AR is sickkk too.. cant go wrong either way.. Griff seems a lil gun shy on the smackdowns tho!!! His mods are nice.. maybe you should do same sods in opposite colors.. so red where he has blue!!

Is the GPS on the GoPro no good? You could get the number from the overlay they have if it's reliable.

Motonosity's bike in my opinion sounds better, I like the throatier sound.

Regarding speedometer error, my 2020 RR is spot on. I often have my phone with GPS speed (Escort Live or Waze) on an X-Grip and it shows the same speed as the console, within 1 mph.

Those brake callipers definitely need a upgrade.
The speed on the dyno was vary close but it stopped reading above 190 if memory is right

The Austin pipe sounds it has a deeper grunt, the SC is more a screamer.

@MrMurphc13 Do you think Austin barks deeper than SC ? And SC has somewhat higher pitch than Austin ? Like what would be the major difference you would say in terms of sound ?

If we’re comparing like with like eg SC CRT vs (most Austin pipes) then they’ll sound more or less the same.Mental loud.But SC oval for example will sound a little deeper and less raspy than either an SC CRT/GP70 or the Austin line up.
@@MrMurphc13 to be honest i am search of exhaust for 2020 Zx10r and i need something which growls deep at idle and not dull in high revs . I mean good sounding in highs. I shortlisted Austin Racing Gp1r, Brocks Penta Carbon and the SC Crt. Which one you think fits my criteria ? Reply would be appreciated.
@@AlexBrar_ They’ll all fit the Bill I think.My issue with AR(at least the early stuff I had) was the price was too high for the quality of the stuff.SC GP70r(which I have on my RSV4) is higher quality and 30-40% cheaper and it’s still an expensive piece.The Penta carbon looks nice.They’ll all be great exhausts(my rsv4 with gp70) is crazy loud but that’s the nature of the V4+that crazy pipe.The sc might be perfect on an in-line 4.You can’t go wrong either way all are great products
I don't know how to say it but austin racing has much deeper bass because its not a pure 'can' tip like the sc. The gp1r muffler is actually quite long, the fat pipe is an incognito muffler along with the end can, thats why the pipe is fat as that is a muffler with fibre glass inside.

@@motonosity Dude you should. I never used to and have lost some hearing. Its not just the exhaust sound it is the wind noise also.
Best one I found was "Moldex 6604 uncorded". You can also get custom made ones. Once your hearing is gone you can not get it back.

Both sounds good but the sc project is the winner to me
how are you doing to have such good quality with a GoPro hero 5 ?
Because much of the internals haven't changed at all since the 5 and I prefer the color output.

Austin racing sounds much better but the fit and finish of both are second to akrapovic.
I wish Akrapovic did full systems in titanium for other models.
