- This home is sat on the edge of a cliff, sadly the owners were forced to move out when cracks started appearing around the home. Although it’s been empty for many years now, you still get a massive wow factor when you step inside!.. The views are to die for! I really do feel sorry for the people who were basically told they had to leave... must of been an absolutely beautiful place to live!

Did this place with my husband oxfords finest it was trashed since you went sadly people have smashed the place up …had a strange feeling we actually left in a hurry I actually live here for 16 years of my life I use to come here as a child most of the cliff has fallen away now .Great video 👻
We had a look at this lovely house again last week - not inside - and noticed that a window has been completely taken out and the car has even had the exhaust stripped out now. Earlier in the year we saw a pile of electric cables and pipes at the back so guess someone is gradually stripping it all out. This would have been a fabulous house before the slip no doubt.

I know where this is walked past it a couple of months ago... Landslide was quite a few years ago... Quite a few lobbying for the road to be reopened... Houses still occupied opposite..
Plus I only live up the road lol

Those cracks in wall don’t look that bad. Amazed they were made to move out based upon subsidence, especially as House is obviously still standing exactly as it was left.
Right,I don`t see how the owners could have been evicted....surely its up to the owner whether they choose to leave or stay?

The Speedline wheels are 5-bolt, but the Cougar has 4-bolt wheels (at least mine has)
That issue of Mean Machines is from April 1992! Amazing that it's in such good condition. And now I'm feeling really old.

Thankyou for sharing this beautifull place. My favourite room was the one with those old designer chairs in. I guess they didn't have space to take them. They are a real classic design item.

The property was sold in 2016 for just £186k 2 years after the Landslip. It is on a massive plot & the previous owners paid £225k back in 1998
Without land slip probably worth 1.2m based on those prices

Suppose it can't be underpinned or piled if the whole headland is on the move. Just as well you didn't go exploring the overgrown garden, it might come to an abrupt end!
A real shame this can no longer be lived in. I hope the owners got a good insurance payout.

I dont think the home owners would be evicted from there own private house most likely left as it was unsafe .
A lot of your videos recent ones and car graveyards and jcb graveyard had explored and haunted house with the satellite dish we had respect for anything we explored but shame didn't have a camera at the time 1997

You can see it again @5:54 in the far corner of the room . Still cant tell what kind of insect but it's big. Surprised they didnt see it !

What a fantastic house and location shame they had to move out cos of the subsidence was very clean and why would leave your car in the garden and I’m sure you would find a path down to the ocean.

I guess you don't need such a big bedroom when you have another room for a wardrobe.
Its an idea to position your wardrobes and fitted furniture on an external wall of a bedroom for better insulation from outside when you think about it or use a room with only one outside wall for a bedroom.
I would of stayed in my house until I can't stay any longer that's one beautiful house 😍😍

Man that's the first time I seen a ford badges on a cougar , normally they have Mercury badges on them , super Kool find mate !
I walked past that house at the start of August 2020 while on holiday. The wheels were on the Cougar at that time.
