1:19:25 - " 'someone' is plural, right?" And the witness even answered YES. LOL. This is the epitome of the defense's desperation, trying to connect unrelated dots into an ice sculpture. Ta da.
Pros had this "expert" stuttering, stepping over his own words and really hammered that he only had some evidence. Pros did a great job of discrediting him.
LOVE the way Witness Williams ignores the obvious implications of the evidence that proves that while he was on direct w defense that HE took plenty of the facts completely and utterly out of context and when Prosec Williams asks him about the more complete picture and the inconvenient facts that contradict Expert Williams previous testimony- Witness Williams makes some dumb statement like 'yes she offered an alternative to giving Hit man key to her house' and Prosecutor just lets witness Williams complete idiotic statements speak for themselves!! Bravo Prosec Williams! I take back all I said about you before- just wish you'd done THIS version of Prosecution in Retrial #1!
This man has a complete lack of integrity. I wonder how much he charges to get up there and basically lie for this would be killer. I dont recall, I didnt see this information... blah blah lies. Wow. Luckily the jurors saw what I and the rest of America sees...!
I think what happened in the evolution of the Dippolito Defense- is that at some point after her crime- after her first conviction and after appeal- Shihadeh came to visit Dalia and she came up w some BS on how to twist what happened in the investigation. She and Claypool and Rosenfeld conspired to play off Shihadehs discomfort in being pulled into this case and started conning him into believing the idea he was coerced. None of that came out until AFTER she was out of jail on appeal. As anyone can see Shihadeh is easily swayed to say whatever he can be convinced what happened- by whomever is questioning him. Because he feels guilty about getting his sociopath of a lover in trouble - he was a willing stooge. But he's also not willing to completely testify in ways he knows to be false- Altho he came very close IMO to straight up lying when for the very first time he's saying page 6 of CIA was never there- despite also stating he cannot remember details from 8 years ago. For some reason he was really conned into the page 6 lie. So when state decided in first retrial to not go into full background of case- Shihadeh was Defenses salvation. I dunno if he's the baby daddy or not but something is up w this dude- he needs to wisen up. I'm
This 'expert' Tim Williams loves to say how 'sometimes prosecutor takes things out of context' - lol. His entire TESTIMONY is an exercise in taking things 'out of context'. So many things unhelpful to the defense Williams completely ignored and never even was shown.
1:36:56 listen to this question and answer, it shows how the guy is not even listening to the questions and is just answering based on what he feels the lawyer wants him to say. This answer he gives completely contradicts himself, this guy would say or agree with anything said by the defense for 350 dollars an hour. Then again so would I probably....
Unbelievable how many times this defense attorney asks the same damn question. The state just sits back and lets them hang themselves. Great job, Williams!
I wonder how pissed that Timmy was after he realized the defense team withheld some stuff. Making him look unprofessional and unprepared. Not so good for the business.
since when is a defendant allowed to have a gadget to play with during a criminal trial?? i think i saw her (i could be seeing things) at the defense table, toying with one... this trial seams so relaxed, looks more like a civil trial
The problem with being paid to testify by one side or the other, you have to walk that line where you are true to, or loyal to, the people who paid you, which results is skewed, biased, testimony.
BBH101 That's what professional experts do. What about LaViolet in Hodi Hairyass? That was gold. By the end, she had to go to an ER for panic attacks from all the death threats (or likely for safety).
Cate Ellington tbh, that is the only way to attempt to win bc the guilt is so overwhelmingly obvious, he had to try anything as a distraction from the facts
Oh absolutely. My concern is when the jury is so easily led, (and of course the state is incredibly inept thinking they don't need to provide back story and foundational details) that the lies by the defense- end up confusing jurors who seem more emotional decision makers than logical decision makers- and a mistrial is called.
Karen Jones She did...and the defense dropped that bomb at the end of closing arguments by remarking to the jurors....send her home to her infant son. The judge waited until the jurors left and he demanded of the defense if it was true. The judge then asked how she could have kept from the court that while on house arrest, she had left her home to go to the hospital without the court being informed. The judge was hot ! How many men could she have had contact with while on house arrest ........the mailman....her attorneys.....the mailman.....her attorneys....the mailman.....her attorneys ? Lol !
if this guy apologizes anymore i will puke. she isnt getting her moneys worth with this lawyer. sounds like the chippendale chipmunk, im sorry i apologize. what a wuss!
Wow you would think the defense would give him all the evidence in the case so he doesn’t look like an inept fool on the stand. The prosecution actually got him to admit that it was dalia’s idea to kill her husband lol, not Mohammed or the police. Which we already all knew. Also who would have thought an ex law enforcement officer would actually sell himself to a defense team and make excuses for dalias criminal behavior. He should be advocating for the victim and the police force who even though there may have been flaws they prevented Mike from becoming a murder victim. A murder dalia absolutely planned and followed through on. This case was open and shut! How she was able to get three trials I’ll never understand.
@@jamesjwalsh I agree but it was proven thru an investigation with the Florida bar however since Claypool was not a member and the case was resolved with the defendant sentenced to 16 DOC years it was not pursued. It is hilarious that this guy thinks he has all of the answers in a murder for hire case when he has never worked one!!!!

The male DA and defence really rub each other up the wrong way. it's hilarious. Judge had to tell them to start acting professional a few days ago.

LaViolette was a disgrace. Her bias should have been embarrassing for the defense as she just could not hide it. Retirement funds, you know!
BBH101 If I were to attend a symposium and heard LaViolet was scheduled, I would protest until she was uninvited.

pros coming across as unstable. Where can we find the rest of Mike Dappolito's cross testimony? Thats's what I'd love to see.........

Only way Claypool thinks he can win is to try and play dirty pool. But thankfully he failed in epic fashion and jury DID. NOT. BUY. THE. LIES.
