Russ did great
Man it wasnt even my camper and i was smiling the entire video , im so happy for her and man you did a nice job , you must feel great handing over the keys to people after your done , i wish i could restore campers for a living but where i live , people think they are worth thousands and they are destroyed , so there is no way i can buy them and make a living , ive only found one thats worth restoring and at a fair price , 2 years ive been searching for vintage campers to save and its not easy in Canada, maybe i should move to the US lol you guys have so many places to search and get them at fair prices it makes jealous......anywhoo thanks for the inspiration, i will keep dreamiing ,,,👍👍
Thank you. Traci was great to work with.
It’s so great that the camper can be enjoyed again! Great job!! I have a question please…we have our 1962 Shasta (finally) done, but we don’t have any cabinets on the left side over the wheel well. Is this going to decrease safety on the road? Should we either install cabinets or some sort of reinforcement on that wall? Thanks so much!!
I always try to reinforce the whole length of the trailer especially where there might be a weak point.
Rob, where do you get your roof metal done please? I’m in VA, and it’s way too expensive to ship from California. I know you’ve mentioned it before but sorry, I can’t remember. I like the window knobs too. Great job as usual
Thank you. I get my metal from Macs Aluminum Supply in Bristow, Oklahoma
Great job Rob. Where did you get those window knobs?
Amazon has them.
@@RobTheRebuilder Do you have a part number or product name?
@@JasonHorne72 RV designer H715 plastic window knob
Thank you sir! I like those a lot better than the original arm cranks.
I have an old 60's model camper. What is the best way to sell the windows and vents and such?
Usually on a camper FB page.
What was the total cost of this rebuild for the customer?
Out of respect for the customer I never discuss money.
@RobTheRebuilder ok well I was going to buy a 1971 scotty and was trying to find out about a round about number to have you restore it
I would be happy to look at pictures of your trailer and give you a quote. rebuilderrob@gmail.com@@steventaylor3296
Where are you located? I want you to restore mine!!
Tulsa, Oklahoma area. rebuilderrob@gmail.com
Bed dosnt fold up?
Almost everyone wants a static bed for comfort these days. No folding.
