Millcreek should have done the release I agree, but after watching the movie on blu ray that issue only happens because of two reasons it seems: 1) a character is talking Offscreen like an announcement on a speaker, or through phone, 2) or through a creature in alien form. It happens so rarely though and doesn't hamper anything too badly at least for me. Is it annoying ? Yes. But it's legible and still a very good watch
This isn’t bad. It’s a Red Flag. Mill Creek should’ve done this. Your right they have no idea what there doing clearly. Don’t understand why there the ones doing this
I just don't get why they are using a different subtitle track from what was shown in theaters. One already exists, it should have been used.
Toho is known for charging extra for any features you want to put on a physical release. I do wonder if the original subs were too much money.

I got mines and I have the same issues as well.
The company who made English Subtitles for Shin Godzilla should have done it.

Well they don't because this is the first movie they have ever put out.
They've put out movies before, but this is their first foreign film release, yeah. -Matt
