The Crash Bars for the side panels are firmly bolted to its chassis. In case of laying down the Vespa on the ground, they will protect your paintwork and frame from any damage.
⚠️ This Crash Bars are not compatible with the side reflectors, they would need to be removed, if want to keep them, it would require drilling more holes... Watch installation video.

How annoying - those crash bars weren't available in Black when I bought mine! I had to buy the chrome ones and repaint them... They're not really 'crash' bars, more like 'parking' bars; here in UK the bike bay are so tight that you always get someone shoving their bike in next to yours

Well, I can imagine how handy theses can be on tight places like that, I guess is more like universal name it was given, with a more general meaning... I think it might come more from the racing cars and off-road trucks that has protective bars all around and they are usually called like that. Peace✌
