Hi sola, I recently just started watching your videos and they are amazing! I have been felling a bit overwhelmed but this video has really encouraged me to not settle for mediocre grades but Grade 9’s through the methods you have described. So thank you very much for the advice !
Honestly, it is impossible to not to compare myself with others. I have a lot of friends who gets 9s all the time and I know they really good at their lessons which really puts me off cause I'm like, if those are getting this good there's no way I can make it
I know it’s really hard and I struggle with it to this day. However, you have to understand that comparison is the thief of joy. They may get higher than you now but that’s not to say that you won’t get amazing grades also. You really have to focus on your own journey. GCSEs aren’t everything - some people get amazing gcses then burn out and get lower A Levels. That’s why you just have to focus on yourself. Good luck ❤️
Your tips are great! What are things to do to stay organised for GCSEs. For example, what sort of equipment should we use and how to we come at the exams prepared and organised?🙂
Honestly, don't put so much pressure on yourself. If you get straight 9s, great, if you don't - that's still great! At the end of the day, just get the grades you need for the A levels you want to study, that's pretty much all you need. 9s are like a shiny trophy that doesn't really mean anything in the long run! Best of luck!
@@xfreja yeah but I know what I'm capable of from my mocks and I wanna push myself to get straight 9s. ik it doesn't mean much but I still want that shiny trophy 😂

You don’t need to take a language but some schools force you to do one, mine didn’t. Don’t worry, so long as you start revising and making your revision resources from the start of the year, you’ll be fine!

my countries suffering a critical economic crisis due to bad presidents and ministers... we have 4 hour powercuts daily, no fuel, gas etc..and its distrupted my study shedule and mental health...only 2 more days for my gcse's but im still gonna fight and do the best i can and trust in the Lord :).
You’re so strong!! You’ve got this!❤️❤️
where do you get exam questions for specific topics! for example, in science not just the organisation section but the heart?
You could just search up something like “heart gcse biology questions (and your exam board)”, or you could do organisation questions and just complete the heart questions!
Hi I’m re doing gcse Science later on end of this year after many moons later. I’m doing the foundation level edexcel. Grade 5 is this a C or B as I want to clarify it as it shows it’s in between it.
Free science lessons, science with hazel, primrose kitten as bf cognito for my science revision.
Grade 5 is a high C and a low B! It’s not really specific
@@SmileWithSola thanks for clarifying that. Good luck for your exams. I won’t be doing mines till near end of the year. It’s only science I’m ticking off
I’ve got biology in a week any advice?
Watch my video on Science, I give specific advice: th-cam.com/video/NL7u7vZ4mnM/w-d-xo.html
hello sola!!!
i needd helppp! i procastinated and made no notes or not even flashcards and now its just a month left till exams😭idk what to do!! i spend hours and hours on a small topic...in 5 days i made notes for just one biology chapter...i am so stressed...currently im on grade 5s and i really want to jump to grade 8s and 9s...im ready to do anything for it but only when ik how i can get those good grades....please please please reply to my comment as it will be very heplful if u tell me what i can do in this situation
How do I learn all the content and still do exam questions though because there’s so little time?
Focus on exam questions rather than textbooks. The more questions you do the more content you’ll pick up and the more you’ll highlight your weaknesses. Then you can use pre-made flashcards for your weaknesses.
Hi Sola! Okay so I've done all my primary schooling in the uk but then we moved back to India and now we're moving back again to the uk but permanently. I'm going to be going into year 11 from september and i am absolutely terrified now. I'm gonna have to give my gcses and was hoping for some advice 😭😭😭😭 and is taking a foreign language going to be compulsory or can i opt out?
You don’t need to take a language but some schools force you to do one, mine didn’t. Don’t worry, so long as you start revising and making your revision resources from the start of the year, you’ll be fine!
@@SmileWithSola Oh okay well thank youuu
had to definitely subscribe to you! you're amazing , this gave me motivation to get up and and revise. thank u so much! im currently in year 9 🤍
didn't mean the and twice **
I have biology paper one on the 17 May 😄
Good luck!!
