I would literally revise a week or two before mocks when I was in year 11 and never really else lol, watching this makes me really motivated to try way harder in sixth form.

Because my school does revision lessons online we can leave at 2:50pm so we can get home before our period 4s start at 3:30pm.

@@ky-tj8fi we had mocks on the last week coz our skl kept pushing it back, and they also gave us a 2 week study leave so there would be less covid spread in year11 so we could do our mocks.

Rohaan Saiyed prioritise revision, hopefully there are subjects you genuinely enjoy. Triple Science revision is actually piss, there’s not actually much content when you summarise it all along with details that are always asked in exams. I am amazed how you don’t do any lessons or evening classes after school 👀 here in the Caribbean we have lessons and that’s mainly after school 🙄mine is from 4-8 Caribbean time🇹🇹 and I have that almost everyday so doing my own personal studies is very hard to get around 😪🤦🏾♀️🤧especially because it’s mainly homework for school and lessons you make it look so easy and the best thing is that you get to physically go to school☹️💔 whereas I have to be home on the 💻from sunrise to sunset and getting quarrel up cause I always on the computer or IPad 🤦🏾♀️ but I have a lost of assignments and thinks to do you know but I really like how you do things but applying it to my life 😬I really hope CSEC bring that exam easy🙇🏾♀️

@@udokafintelmann6803 Bro you’re so lucky. I usually get back home at like 4:40-5, and start revising at like 5:45-6.
Good luck on your mocks! Mine is in January (depending on the lockdown tho) and looking at the exam timetable still gives me chills haha. But I already experienced how mocks were like because I did Malay and Maths early (for maths I got a predicted grade cause corona).
All I could say is that don't stress during the exam and try your best - at times like these, mocks are very important as they may be used as evidence for your predicted grade (depending on the exam board) and really it shows how you are doing so far.
Maths Tip for everyone: Definitely practice a lot of past papers in timed conditions so you'll develop the mindset to use those skills in your exam. Another strategy is to remember methods for particular topics and recognize patterns as you go along. If you don't feel confident on a topic - practice!.

I love your work ethic and editing! Also i agree, i don’t think i could stay in my school uniform until late evening, i guess it helps many other people to convince themselves that they are still in class hence making them more motivated? I’m not sure haha

how people are motivated to do this much is beyond me. and also how much free time people actually have.
like i have morning intervention, 6 hours of school and then afternoon intervention. so i spend 8 hours in school, it takes about 40 minutes to walk home, then i need time to relax, get in comfy clothes. i have a shower, maybe get 1hr-1hr30 to revise, then i have to eat. and then i'm just not in the mood to revise.
plus certain teachers decide that other subjects dont exist so i just have so much homework to do. my mocks start wednesday, im prepared for this week, but i've literally had no time to prep for next weeks mocks. so im a little stressed out to say the least
edit: forgot to mention about not being able to settle down to do revision for extended periods of time as my parents arent together and want me to spend equal time with them during the week, so i cant keep all my revision stuff in one place, they have different schedules, that arent predictable and having pets to take care of. one parent will let me stay at home all day to revise, but i wont have a desk or resources. then the other i have everything i need, but they want me to be outside all the time, spending time with family.
Good luck for tomorrow just don't stress yourself out too much taking care of your mental health will keep you in focus. i'm going through similar thing of bad time management and not being motivated but i'm trying not to stress it too much. (mines next week)

In one of your older videos, you mentioned that you would make a video on how to use Anki and I was wondering if you are already on the works for that or you are going to make that video because that would be a huge help since I really want to start to use Anki flashcards but I am still quite confused on how to use it. Don’t worry about the mocks, I got D’s and C’s in all my mocks, and I revised like 2 months before the IGCSE’s and got all A’s
It’s different this year because if GCSEs are cancelled the mocks have a big impact

1. Thermoregulation is the control of body temperature by the thermoregulatory centre and is n example of a negative feedback system
2. Body gets too hot, thermoregulatory centre detects increase and activates warming mechanism - sweating, hairs lie flat, vasodilation. Body temp decreases. When body temp reruns to normal cooling mechanism is turned off. Thermoregulatory centre detects increase in blood temperature activated warming mechanism. Shivering releases thermal energy through respiration, less sweating hairs stand on end increasing insulation and vasoconstriction reduces blood flow near the surface of the skin.
It would be cold in the winter so to keep the runner warm the thermoregulatory centre would activate the warming mechanism. His hairs would Stand on end to increase the layer of warm air above his skin, Vasoconstriction would reduce blood flow through vapilleries near the surface of the skin and he would shiver ( rapid contractions and relaxations of the muscles releases thermal energy through respiration).

Just finished my last mock today. Kinda flunked chemsitry got 75%😭 and maths I had yesterday it was kinda hard but we haven’t got the results yet. I’ll be happy if I get over 80%. And today I did biology. I spent 9 hours studying and it paid off well. Confident I got 99-100% hopefully. Honestly jsut make sure u revise a lot and you’ll get through it 😁

I tend to make flashcards for science the kerboodle textbook, my cgp textbook and classnotes (as in i combine all the knowledge). It takes a long time but it means i have to actually read and understand similar info three times to be able to summarise it. Sometimes I’ll even put exam questions on my flashcards to help. But by the time I come to learning all the content on the flashcard, I already know half of it
With your revision cards on Anki, do you think you could export them to a public folder on google drive or something so that we can use them? I've written out my physics ones but the rest is hard. If you go on Anki then > File > Export > And select the export format "Anki deck package", I think it should work :)
