hello, I have Blizzard saddlebags size L since April 2017 mounted on my 250 WR R since May 2017. A raid in Morocco of 4000 km and 15000 km of off road since they experienced sand, mud, snow, heavy rain and many small falls. they are intact to this day. I mounted them on my 700 Ténéré. for more efficiency, it is better to cross the straps at the back in order to counter pull.
@@ShafterRod hi sorry for the late reply. it's better to communicate on my TH-cam channel. You stretch the strap and pull it up in plastic rings on the top of the saddlebags and tie a knot.
Hey Adam, Smart looking bags those, just looking for some soft bags and these are really well priced and look really well made. Thanks for taking the time to make a really good detailed review. Cheers Mike
Great video. But, How Will they mount on a T7 with rally raid side racks with your luggage racks? Especially mounted as far back as you can If you want extra space to move around, or a pillion. / Ola 🇸🇪
Please try them on a small dirt bike like an exc. They look good at carrying the weight down low compared to other bags but I’m afraid they would get stuck in the wheel on a smaller bike.
The Enduristan gear is great quality...I have the rally pack. With all the good quality, well shaped soft panniers out there it's hard to make a case for massive rigid panniers that stick out as wide as a small car!! Cheers, Steve
@@rallyraidproducts1927 I just have the tail pack, which is a brilliant every day piece of kit. I'm heading to the show next week to get either Mosko moto/ Enduristan or Kriega soft luggage for my new T7. And a sprinkling of Rally Raid.....!! Cheers, Steve
I'm assuming the Blizzards, and Monsoon, would work OK on the X, without the pannier racks? I'm currently using the SW Motech 700 'horseshoe' bag, but might like to get the weight even lower down.
The SW Motech bag is much larger capacity (70L) and has the bulk of your luggage higher. To get the same capacity, you can get the Blizzerd XL (34L) and a small duffle over the passenger seat on the X. You will notice improved handling with this setup. The Monsoon 3's with it's larger capacity are best used with a pannier frame.
@@K2LVN It is a known issue sadly and the stupid thing is Enduristan seems to just not aknowledge it at all and fix it. I think they made a revision but it's still the same issue. They also make the same bags rebranded for Touratech and they have the same issue again. I simply don't understand why they won't change the design in a way to fix it. There is so many better ways to do it and they are perfectly aware of the issue because I know multiple people emailed them about it....
Would you say that the Blizzard XL are still OK on the T7 or is the L size the better choice? I can add more volume with a waterproof bag across the Blizzards and the saddle. P.S. (June 2024) I have the Blizzard in L and a Tornado 2 in L and with this volume I'm totally OK since 3 years. If I need less volume I can select a smaller Tornado 2 as well.
Thanks for the test. Especially with the T7.

You think the L blizzards would be a better fit for the Tenere??
@@neilmosteller2472 Hi, I think size L is enough. You can add a waterproof bag to the saddle. This helps distribute the weight and streamline storage.
What did you do with the long strap used to attach to the rear pegs?

Great video ! Have a lot of experience with Enduristan products. Its high quality to an affordable price.

Very good video. I like the look of Kriega's bags. Will you test them?
Can the two top straps fit under the T7 seat instead of on top?

Comong soon, just very busy with pre show prep this week

How far have you covered with them, give us some pros and cons 😁

Hi RR, how would they fit on the CB500x 2021 with the rr level 2 kit, any chance you could do a video ?
How well do they work empty, or only partially filled?
How do you think the bags would work on the 310 without any racks and without the top plate on the rear rack? Would they be too floppy?
Fantastic instructions

Yes I would say the support on the inner bag would work well, we will find out very soon either way!

Did you find the top two centre straps worked loose when green laning?
Yes a little, giantloop coyote is our preference 🤟
The enduristan have worked well for me, bar the top straps. More so on quick, undulating, whoopy type tracks.
Glad to know it’s not just me!

@@iandaintith I finally took the Blizzard 'L'.
@@skybluetenere thanks. I was coming round the that idea myself.
