For future reference, gray numbers mean they are resistant to your attacks. Two ways that can happen. One, your weapon is too low a tier, or Two, they are resistant to the weapon type. For the Orc boss, that is the case. He is resistant to slash and pierce. But he has no resistance to blunt! Using a hammer or mace style weapon would have been more effective. Some monsters are weak to some damage types as well. Now, I don't know how you are supposed to know that. I don't recall if it is in the lore or if you just have to experiment to find out :) We found out the Orc boss was not resistant to blunt damage in multiplayer when our group attacked him. I typically use a sword, my cousin likes hammers and maces, and our other team mate is an archer type. The only one doing normal damage to the Orc was my cousin.
What an awesome group! I'm the same and I went maces. Thats when I noticed that the first mace you can craft says in it's description that it's effective against armoured enemies.
6;28 I didn't know the enemies had friendly fire, but then I saw the orc at that time get taken out by one of their arrows. And upon rewatching the fight, the boss almost immediately takes out one of his own with his first swing. I love the lift repair. Missing tons of large looking parts. You get all the material. *tink tink* FIXED! But serious, I knew I was going to be creeped out by all the falling and stuff in that deep cavern. Can't wait for tomorrow's episode!
Did you figure out you can rotate the quick build platforms? Its in the tooltip section of the UI :) You often build two when one would have sufficed Awesome Lets Play so far though! Love the game since the updates
@@Rhadamant Oh.. It's on R and T I believe.. Check the UI after pressing V ... there are tooltips appearing in the bottom .. bottom right is the controls for rotating a quick build platform :)

Aye, I figured that out during my test playthrough when experimenting with weapon attacks
A bit of feed back: Keep up the greay work Rhad! I'm a bit behind but I sure am enjoying this playthrough.
Thank you kindly!
FYI I'm a TH-cam watcher and I think your light accommodations are sufficient. Thanks for that.

So no on the first mine shaft
Huh?
Wasn't there another mine shaft going down in the mines?
Anyone else feel stressed watching him make the sketchy platform jumps he sets for himself
To be fair ... I haven't gone totally splat yet, right?
