Looks great, 10/10 on creativity for completely renovating and building a new design over a pre-existing one. I built in the Armoury but only added to the existing build rather than completely redo it. I'm very happy with it, I think i did a bangup job. I like leaving the floor as is, I feel it gives it character since Moria is still being reclaimed after such a length of time being ravaged and despoiled.

I build a storage in the mines as a start but i have the problem with the stone foundations you showed because I have a 1st floor and on the ground floor i get these huge blocks that pretty much cover the whole room :D I tried to place wooden beams underneath the floors but this did not fix it. Anyways your build is amazing

When I first saw this I was like damn this is a nice build. I want to build somewhere else but the Elven Quarter has so much to offer: meat supply, Elbereth statue, great forge, space, plants and elven wood. I'm still at the Crystal Descent btw still mining away every last piece of ore.
There are sweet areas later on in the mine so if you are not sold on the elven quater then make a simple base for now till you get to the other area. When you are there you will know. #nospoilers
Not for a while. We got it on the Epic Store when it first came our, had a few issues, alot of issues when it came out, but now it is on Steam. They have improved alot if things. We will get back to doing more and doing back to base tours
@@KD_Gentlemen Yeah I have read that it didn't have the best launch 😂 but, in all fairness it have improved tenfold from launch and is probably one of the better survival games out there atm, imo... I'm loving it anyway haha, I still want to see some improvements and new things though, I hope they haven't finished with the game yet! And I look forward to seeing your base tours, I'm terrible at building 😂 but this video gave me some inspiration and ideas!

Can someone explain why my Afhan Lamps don't illuminate anything until I stand under them for 5-10 seconds? They seem perfectly fine in your video. They dim down to little yellow lights when I move a dozen or so meters from them!
Easy to get bat spawn and droppings. You can open orc outpost chest without key with pickaxe. So just leave some flag post untouched. Agro the orcs and rush to a high ground where you need to climb get your trusty shield at hand and just passively defend. Enemy wont climb they will swap to bow an try to shot you (with same hit rate as storm trooper in SW). Meantime they will starts spawning lesser mobs and lesser mobs even lesser ones. Eventually you will have many Green goblins which spawns periodically bats. Spawned bats drop guano with same rate as normal bats.
That's really cool how is it in defending for raids? I have also build in the elven grove, but around the statue that spawns the material for the lembas bread. (wich was the only reason i chose that over the forge)

I'd hate a troll going to town on that... last time it attacked me i was lucky my raised sun farm didn't collapse (i'm not that far to have the lamps so i had to build a ramp out into the sunlight in the grove. and it's raised because it's almost touching a bearcave)
I just wish there was more of a reason to grind materials. I see your forges and just remember how I had chests of ore that I never needed. I'm a builder at heart, but just doesn't seem to have the use/need to grind like there is in games such as Valheim. Very nice base though!

Hi freakin love it! I have question sir, when we finished game by killing dragon, there isnt enough Horse spawning, do you can tell what we should do? Or we are just stuck with only farm?

And will keep changing stuff to give it more of my own taste. I did really like the idea of using the big brew as a staircase go get to the 2nd floor.

He even wrote about that he didn’t want that and how he disagreed with the book material that made Game of Thrones so I feel like that’s a better disrespectful to the creator.

Has the raid bug been fixed when building near the big forges? I've heard they'd sometimes get stuck in an endless no spawn raid.

You can turn those markers off. Press M to take you to map, then close all the eyes in the left panel to turn off all the markers. ❤

Same way you can use "Horde is coming" to stack up with gems/gold/bat guano

BAT DROPPINGS. spawn horde and then get to a height they cannot reach you; bats will spawn instead.
I believe with patch 1.1 that also made changes to the spawn rate.
For bats I just triggered horde after horde while in the lower deeps. I got so much gear and bats. On avg 7-12 bats a horde.
Correct. The deeper you are, the more chances of bats for a hordes rather than higher up in the mines

Thank you sir, having to restart a world just to harvest finite resource was annoying but they have a respawn system now in patch 1.1

you can hide markers. Not sure what he ment.
You can't hide markers if your not host. We have tried many times in multiple ways and nothing works
At the time it wasnt an option to hide mission markers for multiplayer users. Since been fixed.
